I don't like the harsh black dropshadow on the logo, try a shade of green instead. The glow around the site is also a bit large, shrink it down or make it more opaque to make the distinction between the page and the background clearer. Color color choices seem off. Forest green and maroon go well together but are a bit dated, and the bright blue breaks the muted, unsaturated colors you're using.

The glow/feathering seems strange. It would seem like there is supposed to be separation between the content section and the page background, but there isn't enough contrast there. It needs more definition.

The entire header needs to go. It is really pulling the rest of the design down quite a bit. The feathered header and the navigation just laid on top doesn't look very good. You need something that grounds the design more, maybe some sort of large header image. Your logo could also be worked on, as it is, it doesn't really match the site very well.
