    It´s cute!

Posted on Mar 11, 2010 at 8:29 AM

I think the site is cute! Really girly... I loved the logo!

I would just drop the swirls and the pink borders. I think it fights for atention and the focus should be on the products you´re selling.

Don´t worry about the search box. Maybe the fact that the people don´t use it too much it´s a good thing! It can mean the site is easy to navigate and people can find things on they´re own.

    More white...

Posted on Mar 12, 2010 at 7:05 AM

    HI !

I like it, but i will suggest to use white background as a box fot the welcome text.

Also will suggest you to use a background for the menu, so it will be more visible.

    Anyway, good work !

    Regards

    Carlos

    List of links below products

Posted on Mar 18, 2010 at 9:01 AM

I think the list of links below products is too much. The links to the left and the search are enough and it puts so much on the page.

The contact questions privacy bit at the bottom I would again use a smaller font as it take so much room.

I would also do less on the swirl and butterfly (the green bits). I think It makes the page look too busy.

I do however like the pink and the home logo. It is very girly too. The items are accurately categorised.

    Great job!

Well I think it is pretty much better to design an e-commerce site. And I think this design has very professional look. Dhgate.com

    background color

Posted on Mar 11, 2010 at 6:56 AM

the site's looking very nice. i'm not sure about the pinkish background though. there doesn't seem to be a lot of contrast between the pink and the purple.

all in all it's a bit too girlish for me, but then again i'm probably not the target audience.

Very nice website. Lots of attention ro details there. I think these details should be less though and with more whitespace around it. Dont overdo it, is my advice to you.

    too many swirls

Posted on Mar 11, 2010 at 7:53 AM

Not bad, but there are a few things that could improve the overall design of this site.

    • The logo looks friendly and warm, but I'm wondering how the hearts and butterflies relate to the things to buy for the home.

    • Remove the stroke from around the search box.

    • Cut down on the number of swirls and flower things by at least half. They can work nicely as accents, but should not be a main feature of thee design.

    • Move the home page container titles from the bottom to the top.

    • Consider separating the product boxes on the home page as you have with the containers below.

    Looks good

Posted on Mar 11, 2010 at 8:12 AM

You have a great base to work off of here.

    1. In general, I think it's a little busy, so it could use some simplification.
    2. I would remove the stroke around the search box.
    3. Don't put the headings on top of the images
    4. On the colored boxes at the bottom, move the headings to the top of the boxes.
    5. Reduce the amount of swirls.
    6. On the checkout area, extend it the entire width of the page.

Good work so far, just keep working on it.
