Thanks Nate. I hope to get the kinks ironed out, especially the busy bg. I'm not sure how to make it less busy but still have a reason to use the background colour for the links to the right of the video player.

There is a balance but not sure what it is yet :)

Here's a couple ideas for the busy background (because I think it's a nice texture, but agree it is a bit buys): 1. try using a more subtle color treatment such as reducing the opacity of the background over another color. 2. try reducing the scale of the pattern 3. try reducing the contrast of the pattern if you can edit it. For example, a black background with the pattern in dark grey, or a white background, with the pattern in light grey, or else some other appropriate colors like orange with the pattern as a darker orange. (sorta the same as my first suggestion just a different technique).

Yeah I'm beginning to see the flaws with the background. Also the header is not exactly right, I found that when trying to add the navigation elements.

Same as above, thanks for re-confirming the need to change the background. I will give your suggestion a try and upload a new preview for you and others in a few minutes.

Thank you, I chose to revise the bg after it was pointed out and white/grey is always a winner for a clean and simple design.

I have already made the change you suggested. Take a look at the other screenshots below the first one. They show the background "wallpaper" is now a tidy and simplistic gradient (white - light grey).

Would appreciate a response to new background, no-one else has come back and looked at my updates yet :(

Looks better now. I think the header needs some work. Try to re-arrange the content of the header - specially the links on the right side.

Can you elaborate on "£ parts are not well related, I see only the central area", as I'm not sure what you mean. Thx
