I dont like background - it makes your lite design harder.

This is a really good start. It's a fairly clean layout and conservative. Here are a few things that I am suggesting for improvement:

• I think the site title identifies the purpose of the site, but I'd still like to see a sentence or two in the main section that explains a little more and will grab the attention.

• I think the profile pictures should be prefaced with a title of some sort. Are these satisfied customers or singles who recently signed up or what?

• The main text area could use some more spice and some bottom padding.

• The footer is a little weak. Maybe you could add a testimonial to this section.

I would only include name and email on the initial sign up. Once they click 'Go' then they would be prompted for the rest of their info.

1. I agree with andy that the footer needs work. I would add padding around this so the text isn't so close to the content. Maybe add some other content too. Maybe active users, success stories etc.

2. The copyright in the footer feels very very out of place. Kind of randomly jammed there.

3. Also as Andy mentioned, the user images need some kind of explanation.

4. The sections in the main content could use images or icons. Something to spice it up a bit, it feels too static.

remove the clutter below the pics.

This is slowly getting better. Here are few things I would do:

1. Work on the registration bar. Make the blue part come up over the top and add a slight drop shadow.
2. Choose a different color than the gray charcoal for the background, maybe a very subtle gray?
3. Take the logo off the picture
4. Make the picture thumbs smaller
5. Make your text more interesting.

Good work so far, just keep tweaking this a bit.

I think you could try with a gray background instead of the black.

Also the text columns seems unbalanced to me.
