For the purpose this is the best concept by far.

I also like the the hidden or subtle HE in the building nicely done.

However drop the circle it doesn't really mean much unless it is supposed to be a sun, then you would need to work on your colours.

    Great work!

      Thanks Az,

we'll consider without the circle and see how it looks.

Nice work. The second one looks more construction to me.

It's definitely between 1 and 2. Three sort of looks like a landing strip.

    #2

I also like #2 the best. It's strong and creative (using the A, H, and E in the building). I think a sharper font would help complement the structure. I'd be interested in seeing a version without the curved line and the circle. Nice work.

    Concept 2, perhaps concept 1

Posted on Feb 17, 2010 at 7:52 AM

What I like about version 1 is the reference to Arabic curves. It has a certain elegance that is missing in the others. Yet, concept 2 is very good too and probably more suited for a construction company. I have no problem with the circle, but think the color should be different.

    I hope this is useful?

    Version #2

Its really a nice Logo. One small remark : i think you need more space between the top icon and typeface.

      Thank you Demi,

we have made the changes and the client admired the final logo.. i tried to upload it but i need to be more active on the site before making any new upload.

thank you all, your very positive feedback helped improved the design process.

    Concept #2

Posted on Feb 16, 2010 at 12:58 PM

The second concept is the strongest. I'm not sure you need the circle behind it though. Also, I don't think I like the font that you chose. Try to choose something that has a little more personality. Also, maybe tweak the colors of the font to match your color scheme more.

Agree with Nate - but I'd change the colours of the logo as well - see how it looks with lighter/dark gray contrast instead of blue/brown.

Thank you Nate for being the first one to give feedback.

I see your points, and will consider your comments in the second try. Do you suggest any certain font for the English writing?

      Thanks Gurmesh,

you mean to replace the brownish color with gray ?

we'll try different colors for sure.

Hmmm...that's a tough question. I am so picky with fonts. Try a lot of different fonts that are clean and contemporary but have a subtle flair to them.
