Personal logo

I can see you're really skilled, but still, if you're a graphic designer people will judge you on your logo, and all other design matters.

I'd recommend to really make it a logo in stead of just colored initials in a box.

I love the headings. The logo itselfpulls the rest down indeed. I would make something abstract. Try to envisage the concepts "Art lover" and "Graphic". Use associative words until you come to some sort of abstraction and work that out.

PS: try to kern the V a bit closer to the i. It is only a fraction.

This multicolor VA doesnt make it simple... I would prefer it with a plain simple color... You could choose a vibrant red!. Also i would use capital smaller letters for the "graphic designer...". GIve it a try...(?!)

I think your logo size is too big.

I would agree to Richard's comment.. yeah you can have a logo instead of using initials. I guess an illustration of you holding a brush or pencil would look good :)

The "VA" is really pulling down the design. I love your font that you chose for you name and the subheading. Start over on the VA and think about using less colors. Right now it looks very Psychedelic and doesn't match the rest of the logo.. i would also make your subheading slightly larger and center it.
