    Pretty squeezed

The poster feels a little squeezed with all of the elements that you are trying to stuff into it. I like the general design, try to shrink it to fit more within the poster though. You could also try some sort of very subtle background to make things more interesting.

    Too much typefacs

Posted on Feb 12, 2010 at 10:49 AM

    Hi, Michelle!

I like your style and some of your typography. As for me there are to much fonts you used. Just take 2 of them.

Next, I like front elephants, but I don't like than you copied them all over the poster. Two in front — that's enough.

Some curves aren't smooth, now it looks inaccurate.

Colors are great and chocolate-full. It is right decision — not to show us a bar of chocolate.

You are on the right way, I am sure your ad will look awesome in a magizine :)

I am only using two fonts....Everything within the diamond shape is the same font, I just happen to use them upper or lower case. Below is different font both lines are the same font. Your right about the curves, I was in a bit of a rush Thanks.

    Too many elephants

Posted on Feb 12, 2010 at 2:13 PM

I think the ad would be a hundred percent better if you took out the smaller elephants. They are unnecessary and clutter up the ad. You're right though, the elephants are really cute. Just don't need them all. Less is more.

Also, you might want to clean up the points on either end of the big round thing in the center. Not sure what it is called. But the points don't really match up. Just something I noticed. And cocoa is spelled wrong.

Sorry, not trying to be nit-picky about it. But thought I should let you know.

oh knows put the wrong kind of bean, cocao is a bean but it's not grown in India(but in south america) lol. Not the same thing as cocoa, thanks for noticing. Your right about the points not matching I was kind of in a rush when I was making this, which is why I am going back to it now. You are not nit picky you are right.

    Remove the small elephants

Posted on Feb 12, 2010 at 5:14 PM

I do really like your design. But it makes me think of cigars rather than chocolate. Perhaps you could change the brown you are using to a richer, darker colour more reminiscent of the dark chocolate you are selling.

I would also remove the small elephants, and add some really subtle Indian decorative features in/on/around the border to spice it up a bit.

Adams idea about the chocolate on their somewhere is a good one. Liquid chocolate ripple are popular on chocolate packets these days and there are plenty of photo-shop tutorials on how to make realistic looking ripples.

Really nice start here. Good luck with it's development.

    put a product image in.

What is spiced chai dark chocolate? 'imported exotic indian spices & cocao' also do not really make an impression that the ad is about a chocolate bar.

Where do I buy this bar? on the website? if so, why is the URL so small?

    unnecessary crowded

Posted on Feb 12, 2010 at 3:42 AM

It's too crowded and there's too little clean space. Try making all the elements a little bit smaller and take a look at the little elephants. They aren't sitting well around there, try something else.

    Show the bar.

Posted on Feb 12, 2010 at 4:25 AM

It's chocolate dude, you gotta show it. Forget the packaging and get a good image of the chocolate itself, you want the audience to drool.

You have to make them feel like they have to have chocolate right now, and feel their mouth filled with saliva.

This ad makes me want to drink tea or take a trip to India :)
