    Clean It up

Posted on Feb 11, 2010 at 9:09 PM

I like this but look at your spacing where the read meats art director and at the bottom. The ration of spaces seems a little strange. I would suggest playing with a little more. If your making the red L's not line up perfectly with text and each then make it more obvious. If you are not intending that then you need to it clean up. The right L doesn't line up with felix and it looks to me that the top doesn't easier could just be my eyes but double check.

    Spacing

Posted on Feb 11, 2010 at 10:56 PM

Nice logo but the spacing needs to be worked on.

Just my thoughts: Since the first shape "L" is part of the logo text and not the last upside turned "L", if you could change their colours, shape it might look more meaningful.

    Not working

Posted on Feb 12, 2010 at 8:06 AM

In an effort to be completely honest, I just don't think this working for you. If you are going to use the red object as a letter, the red object on the other side needs to represent a letter. Currently this looks like "Ucas Felix". Unfortunately I think a redo could benefit you here.

exagerate the contrast or bring them closer.

Posted on Feb 12, 2010 at 12:05 PM

while I understand what you are shooting for. I would say "Go big or Go home!" :-)

The red lines should be way thicker or way thinner. this looks like a half-step between light font and extra bold font. Make the red lines big chunky corners with the light fonts and you would have some good contrast to play with. Or try bringing the red L more in line with the interior fonts weight.

nice logo ! but i'll be better if you enlarge "Art director" to close spaces between it and the L's

    Color combo

Posted on Feb 15, 2010 at 1:03 PM

It's very hard to tell if this is "L art director" or "Lucas Felix". Swap out the colors so the graphical elements work with the word they are associated with. Reduce the length of the upside down L to make it and element and not a letter.

    Spacing

Posted on Feb 15, 2010 at 1:40 PM

I would also change the spacing in the top of the logo. Make the "art director" wider. I think that aligning it with the "u" would be gerat. You have a really great concept, congrats.

    Its nice!

looks great! I like an idea, type and colors. It seems modern. Only one thing i can tell: at first i read ucas felix and only after i read your name under your avatar i understood that it is not only frame but also letter L. Ideal logo is laconic, bright, engaging, easy, understandable and so on. You have all of that but undarstandability)) lol)) So Great work! Congratulations.

    Art Director

Posted on Feb 17, 2010 at 1:15 PM

Overall a great design! Unlike most it seems, I originally did read it as Lucas Felix.

How ever they do have a good point about Lart director... maybe adding some kind of dot on each side of the words 'art director'. Just something to separate it.
