    Colours

Posted on Feb 09, 2010 at 5:56 PM

Generally, I love it! Only main suggestion; I like the faded colours in the background, but they seem slightly at odds with the stronger 'rainbow' effect behind the logo/brand name. Try making them more similar.

Also, the green box behind the currently selected tab might look better in the faded orange. Looks great though.

      Thanks Toby.

The green box behind the tab would be green only in the about us page. For other pages it will have different colours.

Regarding the faded background colours, trust me I was trying to make them similar to the rainbow/strings but it turned out totally different. Will still work on it to see what I could make.

      Thanks for the feedback.

    combine 1 and 3

No 1 is very good and no 3 is very good but a bit busy. Combine those and I think you´ll have the best result.

Thanks for the feedback Miro. I totally wanted to do as you said, but final thing turned out different based on clients feedback.

Just posted (on top) a final design which is edited based on clients feedback.

    faded background image /colors

Posted on Feb 10, 2010 at 11:43 AM

Like the minimal approach and the logo is great. However, I don't feel that the faded background image matches the logo or looks good against the off white background. They kind of seem out of place to me and potentially unnecessary?

    Number 1

Posted on Feb 10, 2010 at 3:50 PM

Number one is really nicely balanced, I like the colours and the logo.

The only thing I dont like is the font used for the tagline under the logo, the rest is fab.

      Thanks Gemma.

The font would be changed in future. Currently it will be same, as it used in the corporate material of the clients business.

The design is finalized by client. Just added on top the image approved by client. Can't change anything on it now.

    1st concept?

I am not sure if this is one design, or several. I like where you are going with the first design. Add a light line right below the navigation that extends the width of the page. I would have to see how you include content in that design but I like the start.

Thanks Nate. The way we were initially headed was to scroll content (have content/pages on a single page). Its totally changed now and would be different pages.

The final image is added on top. Would appreciate your final comments.

I don't like the white glow behind everything. Just leave it as the tan color.

    Bottom colours

Posted on Feb 10, 2010 at 5:02 AM

The colours at the bottom i would have lower down, as at the moment they seem to get in the way.

I like the design and does exactly what you need.

    Version 3 is my favourite.
