mr. Q

I like the idea of manipulating the Q for displaying a face. But as you said, it is more chinese than filipino. Perhaps try to decrease the brightness of the face.

The "MR" doesn`t match the Q imho. Try different fonts and colors. I would reduce the size and try it with less shouting colors.

I think red and yellow colors in addition to this typo for a chinese restaurant is not very original.

The idea with the Q is interesting, we don't know if it's a moustache or a ponytail but it don't work with your "mr".

Maybe colors or I like the q but the Mr. part I am not sure what to do with this. How about a whole person and not just a q. Have the logo represent the rest. ambiance.

For what it is, it's not bad. I would think about trying to blend the "mr." into the face a bit more. Make the letters brown and tan like the face. Otherwise, I think it's pretty creative and different. Good work!

Before I read the description, I thought, that's a cool looking Chinaman. Definately an Asian person, but using yellow and red, this further reinforces the idea that he's Chinese (flag colours). Maybe use blue and white, blue and yellow, or red and white.

I think the Q and the face idea is very clever.

I love the use of the Q, very imaginative. especially the period mark as his mole :D

Like others have said, you could change the font to be more generic, but do you want to be generic?

The Q and face is very stylised, maybe try and match the MR more to the face in terms of style, a bit more sophisticated perhaps.

Maybe add a flower to connect to the Filipino side of things, you could put it on the right hand side to balance it out.

It would be great if the text flowed in the Q a little better and was just in black; it would compliment the simplicity of the illustration nicely.

Yup! He is more Chinese than Filipino.

Darker skin would probably look better on him. The Q idea is great but the "MR" is out of place.

You need more Filipino features,colors, etc. to balance things.

Also the left eyebrow is off i has a bit ofa smudge on it or something.

CONCEPT IS REALLY NICE, could be more better if 'MR.' Font is changed. try some sompler fonts to match with 'Q'
