I would suggest you logo number 9. You got a strong color above and a lighter one right under it. That looks more "sexy" and professional than the others. But also it depends you your website. The most important is to find the right one which you could be still in love in 2 years. 10 and 11 are not my favorites. Remember, as a media designer you need to show your best try ;-)
I like 11 more then 9 but I don't like the shadow of it. Try that without the shadow and see what you get.
The color is more professional....the last two are not good at all....the first 5 are also too texti
The 11th concept has some potential, but you need to work with it some more.
Some of the other designs work but aren't very different or out of the box. I think with the right amount of style added, the 11th concept could be kinda cool.
Concepts 1 - 5 become very hard to read even at the size displayed. I also think it would be nice to see more variation on the logos. Most are very simple color changes, and don't really capture a range of design work.
9 & 11 are best among all of them, but since you are using your own name in the logo, it does not seem to have a personal touch.
Either create a logo mark out of your name, or (suggest a suggestion - write your name on paper and scan it. use that as your logo)
I agree with some of the people here on that 11 has the most potential. I like that its kinetic and moving, but I'd try different colors and maybe even different orientations.
I'm kinda wondering what New Media Designer really means because I'm not sure I'm reading it from your logo yet. Maybe different the font could help add another dimension to your logo. I guess, beyond the colors I'm losing the concept.
Great direction and amount of work you put in! Keep at it.
I agree with others that 9 has potential... I find the color very appealing. keep working with it!
as said before 11 is the only i can relate to.
Althought a bit seen, the colors will always be good.
i would work on that
Instead of having the text aligned straight across, why not adjust it to angle with the colored blocks? That might make it more interesting, as long as it stays readible.
Cool last name, maybe you could play off that, instead of 'megan heck'
I would put something more like "why the heck?" - as why choose you...
just a thought, anyways back to your designs...
they are basically all the same, so there it much to rate the differences on, I would suggest a different font, or at least try a couple concepts with different fonts and something more fun...
Good luck!
I'd suggest identifying the colors that you want to work from and then go from there. As for your current designs, I'd eliminate 1-5, 7, and 10. You may have something with 11 if that fits your type of work.
8 stands out to me the most, because red is powerful. I also like red, black, and white so that could also be why.
11 is a little different than the rest and you could go further with it by having the words fit more into the depth that is created with the cyan, magenta, and yellow since they're not square with the lettering.
It all depends on your personality. 8 gives me a clean business feel, 11 gives me a little more creative and fun feel.
