Does exactly what it is supposed to do, sort of reminds me of the Jack Daniels label. Not too original but your goal is reached. The Black screams out high end and elegant. Good job. Maybe play with spacing with LYME BAY. just a small suggestion.

I'll get onto that pesky scallop. It needs work. My next revision will have seen to that problem.

I have redesigned the scallop to be easier to see at smaller resolutions, and repositioned it so the balance of the image is not affected anymore.

      Thanks for the feedback. Appreciated.

    Looks great

Posted on Jan 29, 2010 at 8:11 AM

Looks great, just remove the scallop in the middle of the "o", it's not needed. Otherwise, great concept here.

What do you think of the repositioned scallop?

I still don't think you need it, but I would put it at the bottom if anywhere.

    Maybe colors

Posted on Jan 29, 2010 at 10:24 AM

I like the appeal but it seems like an ad I have already seen in forbes. It just needs more originality that's all. It is a great design but it does not stand out.

    font for scallops

Posted on Jan 29, 2010 at 10:29 AM

I like the design and for me it fits perfectly.

I just think the text for scallops could do with changing to something a little more solid than it is at the moment.

    Great work though.

    the background

Posted on Jan 29, 2010 at 11:56 AM

it looks very standard as a luxury sort of product. but the paper mache background clashes with the identity. also i think the scallop should be bigger. or even integrated with the logo

    enlarge the little elements

This is very beautiful! I would only enlarge the smallest elements, or maybe add more contrast to them.

    Perfect.

Posted on Jan 30, 2010 at 2:56 PM

Luxurious, classic, straight to the point. Even when the scallop is a not clear - it still totally works for me.

I can totally imagine this on a glass door of a fancy restaurant, or on a business card. And it really makes me feel like scallops:)

    Good job.

    Refined and classy

Posted on Feb 01, 2010 at 10:03 PM

I love it. It's not all that original, but it is refined and classy. I'm not sure how much it screams "scallops!" but you definitely got the cleanliness and sophistication down.

It looses something on black (which sadly bleeds white), but it really pops on the brown...

    Great work!

The Lyme Bay seems a bit lost, Lyme Bay is so stunning and such a draw for potential customers, maybe it's worthing making biiger/more noticable?

    Very nice, but smallish scallops

Posted on Feb 02, 2010 at 2:04 PM

Overall design is good and pertinent to the target.

My only regret is that the scallop is tiny and so wo well integrated with the rest of the logo, especially with the two twisted bars...

Very elegant, looking type - I like how you have separated the text with the lines, and I prefer the logo on the textured background.
