This is a great start for the site. Here are a few changes:
Good work here so far, just keep working out the details.
Nate, Thank you so much for your comment!
We are continuously working on the app to improve it further. Will definitely consider your feedback.
We are going live today, but are still under beta testing. It would be really great if you can help us in the testing the application and provide further more feedback / suggestion / comments etc..
We are adding more features in the next release. Please let us know if you have any suggestion. Would love to hear from you.
Thanks Nate again!
Great Design with a very modern look and feel.
You should probably change the contrast of the logo as it is very hard to read the text.
Maybe include the two call to action buttons in the same area as the introduction. They are quite far away from the text and seem to be a different area of the site.
The contrast on the intro will have to drop to make the text easier to read.
For the rest a great design and your web app sounds very promising.
Thanks Rik for the feedback.
We wanted to make the call to action standout and to be separate from the introduction part, so those two button on a green band.
Is it really difficult to read the introduction? I don't really find, it is easy to read with the larger font size. Check on the live site http://jobrary.com
Also, we are live now, you we sign up for free. We would love to hear your feedback / suggestion / comments.
We are working further on the app to add more functionality / feature which would make the application more interesting and further more easy to use.
Lot more features coming up. Let me know if you have any suggestion. Would love to hear them.
The main aim of app sites is to convert users onto consumers therefore needing large and salient calls to action. Yours are there, but they recede into the background somewhat.
Your design is typical of webb app pages, which means users know where they are and know what to expect.
I like the colour combination's used in the top one, green and browny-black.
The fold shadow in the footer is a very nice idea, and I think you should definitely keep it but find another way to use it.
Your logo looks strange because of the angle it's viewed from. Like Binusha Perera said, incorporate it into the word Jobrary.
Definitely the first concept. The page looks stylish and professional. Good composition and colors.
The logo is too shiny and the vertical dividing line in the footer is unnatural.
High rating from me!
It is an over all good design, but it is a little top heavy with the black, have you considered incorporating a different color? The logo in the top left hand corner is small too
The overall look of the website is really nice, however, i would suggest you to work a little on contrast of the logo.
I lie the way you use whitespaces but i would say the upper part of the website needs some more work. Maybe you should try to add a seperator below the navigation and the logo and i would put sing up and take a tour button on the broun background right below the text and would narrow the green stripe
Nice overall look, expect a) the logo with I personally find cheap, b) the collar and tie I find VERY cheap.
The yellow and orange colors of the tie don't go so well with the rest of the design, by the way.
0 points for originality, but I think that's almost a plus in regard to the objectives here.
Keep in mind for resume/portfolio, a gallery is key, so I'd try to built the home page around that instead...
First thing I see is the necktie thing/logo. 2nd thing I see is the title: Resume & Portfolio... 3rd thing I see is the call to action buttons
I think the buttons should be more prominent.
I can't really read the text on the logo in the top left. I absolutely love the design though, clean and simple. Fits in perfectly with my own design style.
I would love to try it in order to give you some feed-back!
Struggling to read the navigation, might be because its a smaller version.
yes maybe of because its an image, look at the live site. http://jobrary.com
Hi Ok, just looked at the site. I still think the navigation is slightly unclear. Maybe because of the pure white text used elsewhere. Perhaps pump-up the white slightly on the navigation.
Website logo looks similar to buttons "Sign up for free"
Colors are not reflecting the purpose of the site.
black image portion is too big
"Sign up free" and "take a tour" buttons looks cool with rounded edges but the placement is wrong.
Footer: twitter logo is hanging in the middle.
rest is okey!!
Thanks Swarat for your comment, I will certainly consider your feedback.
Meanwhile, would you like to put your hand on the app? we are live now, but are still under testing stage. It would be great if you can help us further in testing the application and providing your feedback / comments / suggestion

I like the first concept.
The black and lime green make this a sharp design, but the white on black is a little too plain. I would consider treating the title "Resume..." with a different color or use a slight gradient.
The orange and the yellow are nice compliments so I would try to use one or both of those colors as accents elsewhere.
The navigation is too small (it looks like a 10pt font).
Thanks Andy for the comment.
We wanted to keep it simple and minimalistic, so kept the title "Resume.." simple with just larger font size.
I have increase the font size of the navigation by 1px, increasing further doesn't balance the header.
Do you like to try out the app and let us more feedback, comments? We are live now. We will be adding lot more features in the next release.
I think the login and signup links should be moved to a different place. I'm not a fan of having them sit in the main nav and only differentiate the 2 sets by using a nav hover-looking feature. I'd also incorporate the signup page into the main site - it almost feels like you navigate to a different website to sign up. The logo looks a lot like a button...
1st one definitely, However I really feel you can use alternate style for the green strip and the footer background.
I like the first version the best. The color go nicely together and the message is easy to understand. One thing I might add is to make the picture of the tie, look at little more like a title. The collar looks a little weird the way it is right now.
Other than that, nice job on the color scheme and the buttons.
Thanks Dude for your comment! Much appreciate.
Would you like to try out the app? We are live now, but still under testing stage. It would be great you can test the app and let us know what do you think and how further we can improve this.
clean site and design. might want to reduce the gap between areas. Suggestion with the logo since the company is jobrary, use the O as the logo move the tie in there so it becomes part of the logo. good luck!
