I think the color palate you chose is definetly strong.
Its just hard to tell what the purpose of the page is. If you were to show this to someone who can't speak french (?) (which I can't) it would be hard to tell what this page was for. Which I think is something a successful design would be able to do.
There is nothing bad per say with this site or logo, it just feels a bit boring. I think you need some pictures of the car in the foreground as well instead of hidden in the background. I am usually all about subtle, simple and clean but I think this site needs to be a little more bold.
It's still in the works. What I have planned for the next update will cover this. Thanks.
It works for me.
Very nice choice on the fonts.
This is one of those sites which are subtle and extremely minimalist but works.
Nice, thanks. It's a good indicator of the general design. I'll post the updated version with more elements on it and it'll help to see if this is kept.
this is a suggestion to make sure you use some live text in your site, maybe you were already planning to, i see you're working on a new version of this already. 4 years of french instruction and i cannot tell at all what this is about. please provide a translation with your next post so i can have more information to help you. i like the strong color scheme and typography you've got going on here. i think it is looking great so far. i will wait for a translation before adding anything else to my thoughts and suggestions to you.
it an image as it is a concept. I prefer the browser to show it so the background would stretch and we can see how it will look there. I'll cut it and build it for the final version :)
Colours are bold, but you could had played with the background car image little more. You might want to enlarge the car image and start from top left.
The background image is not making it's job as telling the user this is an "auto ecole", I don't think is to bold, I like the color and the shades but you need to make the car more clear and find a good place for it, for example down the page after the contact details or up in the header next to the logo (logo on the left and the car in the background on the right) but be careful to have enough white space.
good point, I was already considering it, your comment made it official :)
Point taken, thanks.
