    top?

Posted on Jan 23, 2010 at 9:33 PM

I like the bottom "b" more, but don't like the bottom "s" and "e". The e is really hard to figure out and the s looks a lot like the r.

Maybe a combination of both of them?

After looking at it for a few minutes I re-read your description and you said "bisrevo"... I never got an "o" out of the smiley faced guy when I just looked at the logo.

Exactly what I was thinking. Maybe thicken up the keyline on the 'o' to make it stand in line with the rest of the letters more.

    First one is the best

Posted on Jan 23, 2010 at 11:11 PM

I like more the first one because it is easier to read. The second one you'll get trouble with the e, b and maybe the s. I'm not sure that you will see the difference betweeen the r ans the s in little.

As eric said I never saw the or maybe the simley as to much detail for well reading. Especially the triangle head.

    Love the color.

The typo on the first is really good, a bit technical but it is good... Keep good work

The icon reminds me of the drupal favicon - http://drupal.org

That's totally up to you. It just reminds me of drupal because it uses the same teardrop shape and similar color of blue. Overall, I don't really care for the icon because it looks like a little boy. Have you explored other options for the icon or even using the letter "o"?

    Use the top logo

The logo on the bottom takes up less space but it's much harder to read.

    Like the bottom one better

Posted on Jan 24, 2010 at 5:23 PM

The b on the bottom one goes better with the concept, but the s and e overdue it. You might want to try . changing the b on top to the one on the bottom

    1st concept

Posted on Jan 24, 2010 at 10:23 PM

I'd go for the first one, if I were you. It looks more complete the other one. I got some comments though. the black and blue do not match well. either black is too black or blue is too vibrant. play with colours. try lighter shades of black with darker shades of blue. as is now, the colour scheme does not make a good impression on me. typography is fine. but using smiley face as the letter "o" might not be a good idea. because i, as some fellas here, read it as "bisrev" at first sight. i think it'd better to place the face next to the letter "b" and use a regular "o" for the logo. one last thing, the smiley face seems to need some quality improvements. as is now, lines are not sharp. it looks scabrous.

    good luck.

    Not working for me.

Posted on Jan 25, 2010 at 8:42 AM

The first one is the closest but honestly the face is just not working for me. I would try to start over on this concept. Just my thoughts, hope they help.

    The font

Posted on Jan 25, 2010 at 10:17 AM

I think you are nearly there, but getting those small details right is exactly what's so hard.

i prefer the first one, but it's still not quite right. Perhaps do some more font searches for one that is just a slightly less heavy weight and has a bit more of an interesting r.

I also didn't get the face as an o at the end. The thickness of the line versus heaviness of font doesn't help, so a reworked font may sort that out.

I would also try out some different colours too. It could suddenly pop with a different combination.

    the first one

Posted on Jan 27, 2010 at 11:14 AM

The first one goes more inline with the angles of the face graphic. The counters in the font also make it much more readible.

I would kearn some more space between the b and i. And why not give it a slight white highlight on the letters?
