Concept Description

This is the website I am designing for my company, Grapevine Greetings. These are wine cards that go on bottles of wine when you are giving them as a gift, this way you can personalize your wine gift with a wine card. I still need to create the contact and wholesale page, but this is what I have so far.
- How does the navigation look? Suggestions?
- Easy to understand? Less Copy? More pictures?
- Does it make you want to buy the cards and navigate through the site?
Is the top picture with the slightly different navigation better? Or just get rid of the pictures altogether. My thought was the cartoon-look of the illustrations in the nav went with the site and cards.

I think it is great! the only ting I might change is the drop shadow behind the nav either lower it or get rid of it entirely other wise very nicely done

Overall, the design and layout is really solid. great job! On the second graphic, the globe looks a little lonely. There's a little too much white space on the left side. Maybe add another column for addresses?

I think I like the original one better. Now the Where to Buy page looks almost the same as the homepage. I liked that each page was a little different. If you do decide to stick with the image, I would at least round the corners like you did with the other images on the site. Otherwise instead of the image, maybe a bigger icon, like a life sized wine card that says Where to Buy? Is the company international? If not, the globe doesn't really fit. Hope this helps!

I really like the handwritten font style! I'd agree with Mike that the shadow for the navigation needs to be tweaked a bit to look better.

I think you have a great design here. The one change that I would make is to make the navigation wrap around the page like a wine label. The shadow on the page could also be a bit better. Try to make the shadow so it is straight on instead of drifting to the right. I think the the amount of copy and picture you have is great. Great work here!
