I think 1 and 3 have potential. 1 has a more unique feel to it, and more playful. 3 seems more down to business.
From your description wanting a clean minimal look, 3 would be the one that fits the description. Maybe less size on the red box so it has a similar height to the words and then a smaller z inside of it too.
It depends what you want... For sure forget 4 and 5. 1 I get some difficulty to understand it was a newspaper.
2 Is good in fact maybe play with the color it look like a bit kiddish. But i love how you play with the typo.
3 Remind me print. The big wooden block. It is really corporate too.
Also if the logo goes into the newspaper... In black and withe it would be better than second which you'll lose many details.
Hi Zeno,
I like the icon of the third one down.
I am torn between if it looks better having his name start with the capital or not (as in the fourth one).
I say this because the lower case "d" looks bigger than the lower case "a" in his name ( it looks almost purposely done.)
So, my final decision would be the third icon down with the name set up as in four (then three.)
You have a good concept here. Though I think the CMYK colors are bit a overused and not understood by clients as much as we think, this works. The second concept is by far the best concept. Good work!
1 , but roll more the paper of the logo (nice colors) or make a hole like two hands are carry it for read Something like it, but in side view http://www.maine.edu/system/images/spy.gif and a little wrinkle. Try to modify the Z and the last s (roll it?) 2 is more lika a catalog or a book. 3 i think i see it before (or something like)
I see 2 things than can go in a better direction in the 3rd design.
Spacing. The horizontal spacing is too small compared to the verical one. I am talking about the Z inside the red rectangle
The Z inside the rectangle should be the same as the one used in "ziarul". Or if you want them different, you could try a sans-seriffs font for the type.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for your suggestions Vlad, Cheers, Z.
Go with the third one. The third one has a solid design with a newspaper feel.
Whatever you do, don't choose the 4th one. ;-)
I like the 2nd logo. It feels like it's up to date with current logos & well last longer for the client. It's nice, clean & eye catching.
The second one rocks and is exactly what you need. The open book says it all. The font displays trust
I really like the second one. It's creative and has a warm feeling. The third one is bold and classic, doesn't bring anything new, but is a good choice.
care va fi linkul spre blog ?
Hey Ionut,
Thanks for your feedback :) We would like to go for a more classic look. We'll see. Here's the link: http://www.ziaruldeschis.ro
I like the third and can't even compare 3rd with any other logo's listed.
prefer not to even think of the rest, put some more effort on the 3rd to make it productive.
good work!
Hey Mubarak ... we also like the 3rd one. Thanks for your feedback!
I'll choose second one. Simple and say all
Thanks for the feedback Eric!
