I agree with previous comments. The business card translations are super excellent! Maybe just try shortening the M by five to fifteen percent? Maybe experiment with different heights. Just feels a bit too tall.
This is a good direction and is a great idea to use the top of the "m" as a hairline. However, the "m" is taking way too much of the focus. You want people to focus on the actual name more than the object.
I really like this, very sophisticated, great work.
At first was was going to agree about the size of the m, but seeing the way you use it in your examples I think that it works, I guess it could even stand on its own once people have been exposed to it for a while.
I think this is great. I particularly love how easily this design translates into various formats without losing any identity at all. Great work.
I suggest bringing the color curve to right forming a 'P' also and extending beyond that may give a falling hair effect.
Between the Business cards are Awesome.
please find the attachments for some inspiration (just 4 inspiration).
I think you did a great job, I especially like how this logo translated to the business cards.
What id you used the darker indigo in either Moxie or Parlour? Just a thought : )
Good job
Beautiful design! I especially love your use of colour. The business cards and service guide are superb.
Great work :)
Love it. Good colors and the sweeping hair on the M says a lot without saying too much
I think this is great. I really like the colours and think it translates brilliantly to the business cards. I'd like to see a version with the colour curves a bit bigger so they fall into the space at the top of the m and look more like hair falling. Might tweak the positioning of the name by bringing it up a little bit too.
in spain we have a letter looks like it: ñ M is smooth, but moxie parlour is corner.
Colours looks good.
M have a wave ? looks something fragile
I think the idea you have going here is right on the money. I think it's just too subtle for a salon. Maybe extend the pink and purple waves so that they break out of the shape of the m and catch the eye more. Also as another person already said, I think the name of the salon gets lost. I would definitely change the font to something more playful and think about ways to change the size relation between the m and moxie parlour (such as stacking moxie and parlour or simply making the stylized m the first letter of the moxie.
Beside the colour for the "m"letter mentioned above, have you considered trying the lower case for the "MOXIE PARLOUR"? The visual hierarchy is a bit capsized.
Also as a detail, the curved thingy above the first buckle of the m letter is lower than the second. Have you tried making it higher? Or add the coloured curve above the letter without cutting into it? The real life hair highlight wouldn't cut into the forehead, it would be on top.
I am really paying extra attention to the details, maybe it would lead to a good idea on your side.
As it is now, I see a good concept with a slightly lower quality in execution.
