Geat design, a little off balance.

I like the overall design, I just think the columns need to be revamped. I think that extra long green bar grabs users attention for no reason. Things should jump out in the correct order based on priorities.

Hi Paul, thx for your feedback. The online calculator is important and a kind of unique selling point so a bit attraction is okay imho ;-)

I agree, the extra long bars seem to throw the design off a little. On a nit-picky note, on the second page, I think a single column form on the sidebar would work better.

    well polished steel rod...

very well played with colors, simple and powerful.

    • I liked the extra bars coming out, reducing the width by 10-30% may make it look even powerful.

    • I suggest some more padding between the paragraphs may be 10-20px more as you have enough empty space on its right.

I really like the design, perfect for a manufacturing industry. It looks like a well polished steel rod :P

I like the colors and the layout of the site. I wouldn't extend your lines past the content area like you have. If you extend anything, extend the footer on both sides to fill the width of the page. Other than that, great work here.

    colors

Hi, as i know this company, i remember that their colors are red and blue or did they changed the ci already? Anyway interfer is a big company and now it depends on what they want to represent. Should it be the national site for all offices in germany? If so, i guess the nice menu need to be well thought as you could reach very fast your limit with the submenus. Maybe you can choose a menu on the side on other pages than the landing page. Overall i like this ideas as this branch need a big turn (Im also from Germany and know whats going on there atm). So it needs to stand out but should not look like an online agency when you are visiting it. Hope you know what i mean. Anyway, great design.

Hi Nick, thanks for your feedback. First of all one wish: Could you remove the company name from your comment? You know... ;-)

      1. They are about to change their colors, I tok that already into account.
      2. I dont think that you mean the same company, because afair there is only one office in germany.
      3. The structure is already defined and their are likely to be more items in the submenu. But you are right, things can grow. I already prepared a vertical alternative.
      4. They have great pictures from the steelworks and steel manufacturing, so I think this impact is bigger than the creative colors ;)

      Thanks!
