    Slightly boring

Posted on Jan 20, 2010 at 8:26 AM

I feel like you've done a more interesting version of this site. This site is clean, simple and for the most part it works for your purposes but is just a little boring. Just my thoughts, hope the help.

Ok the site is simple but need more improvements for header & logo too the logo is strict , navigation bar need some effects and hover effects too, quick quote need more effects like reflections and some visual improvements to background image .

the content is simple and good , footer simple too that's all i have need some effects & soul to be effective :D

I agree. There is a lot of empty space in the header and the Free Quote could use some added treatment, but it works.

I know exactly where your all coming from, unfortunately this is more a secondary site where clients will be re-directed from the main site.

This also needs to be skinned quickly for multiples companies hence how simple it is.

Its a bit gutting design wise with the constraints, but i do have another 3 car park websites to design, so hopefully i will have more freedom with them. :P

    the quote box

Posted on Jan 20, 2010 at 11:27 AM

I'd say organize the quote box a bit better. Make things line up (mostly the arrival date and promotional code boxes.

Maybe a bit more space between the three columns at the bottom to give it more space.

Reduce the height of the navigation box, possibly make the logo smaller. You can eliminate some of the height to the page and it may help the clean look.

    looks very monotonous

Posted on Jan 20, 2010 at 11:35 AM

    1. add some alternate or secondary colors now its lacking in variety

    2. Need to improve the typography

    3. Reduce the logo size its huge and occupying the top portion

    add another font

Posted on Jan 20, 2010 at 1:04 PM

In order to spice up the design a bit, I would suggest adding another font. A modern, crisp sans-serif font would really help distinguish the headers from the rest of the content. Good start :)

    Cheers, Serina

    Reduce heigh on nav bar.

Posted on Jan 20, 2010 at 3:12 PM

I would reduce the navigation bar slightly. I like the colors and the alignment looks good. I would also align left the headline text ("Cheapest price gaurntee").
