{A) is your best design, available, for a business card.
-1? Who did this? :(
Simply put, I like that sample A is rendered with the least amount of context. Though the "branding, ..., graphic design" subtext in B might be necessary in describing what it is you do, I feel it a bit overwhelming to the presumed minimalist theme you're trying to achieve on the "cover". "Design" alone, should be enough to provide at glance.
The white space is very well organized around all of the display elements. Except D, which has too much for a balance between the top and bottom points of interest. Unless you move the bottom margin up. Honestly, I'd even get rid of the address and phone number, if you're a freelancer. But it still works decently enough as is.
I think I'd have more to say if that -1 wasn't killing my will to stay here :D
Better?
I have to agree about the "branding..." line. Just the logo (Next Branding) would probably be better for this. I think C with a blue front instead of white might be my new choice. I do still like D however.
I really like the logo that you are using (the n) on the blue side, kind of reminds me of a portal. Option d makes good use of it. I think a mixture of B and C (front of B, back of C - approximately) would look sharp as well. I am a fan of the positive/negative sides.
I agree that the logo very good. The N on the back of D looks sleek and grabs my attention. I sort of like the professionalism of a landscape card on the front with info and the large N on the back from D.
I like option D the best... there are a couple of tweaks that I would make: 1. Blue side the large n - don't make it perspective leave it as it is in the logo, and don't have it as white, put a clear UV overlay on it, when ity goes to print. 2. white side - I would right align the text
but that's it, great work!
Hello Aaran. The "N" is being used as a mark. Please see the new files that I uploaded. I like the idea of using a varnish. Thanks for the comments.
I love the depth of the N in the last concept (D). The vertical layout is different and I like that.
I really would like to see design better handled.
I quite like the designs.
Though if I had to change something, I would probably increase the space between 'T' and 'design' a little, and also maybe use a less techie font for all your other text.
Great work though!
My favorites would be the front of A and the back of B for the business cards
Hi Shawn,
I like the top one of "A" and the bottom one of "C".
The first thing I noticed was the distance between the "X" and "T". Have you tried flipping the "T"? I think it will help feel like those letters are closer together. (So rather than the bulk of the "T" going to the right, flip it so the bulk is on the left.) Just to compare.
I also really like the back side of "D" that "N" is an interesting shape.
Hi Amy,
You know a lot of my friends had said the same thing. The spacing between all of the letters is the same. I see what you mean though. I will try and flip the T and see how that looks. Thanks for your comments.
I'll choose B for its measures which allows me to keep that card in a pocket or so, which is more like standard option I guess. Instead, option D is more like creative version.
Thanks Zydrunas. I like the size as well. It's a little different and fits most anywhere.
I'm a fan of verticle biz card (like plan D) but i think your logo left too much space. So I would go with front B with dominant blue background and the layout of back A with a nice logo in the background
Great work on the branding here. I love concept "D" but am still not a huge fan of the logo. I think you could fix it if you were to bring "design" below "next" instead of next to it. The "N" image is really nice and is going to work well for you.
Thanks Nate.
Check out the new files I posted. I did what you recommended and it didn't turn out half bad.
What do you think?
Shawn
Sorry to be a pest...
Which one do you like best? Which one of the email sig's is better?
Shawn
B is pretty good. The logo of the N in Next is a bit distracting. I wouldn't know what it is or means just by looking at it.
The full name in sample B is great b/c the blue background makes it pop and you have your specialties listed there, which is where people's eyes will be drawn.
By the time they're reading the back where your information is they're already engaged to connect with you so keeping the specialties on front with your company name would be ideal.
Actually the back of C with the front of A would be perfect since you can also include the logo.
Thanks for the comments Vicky.
I posted some new images based on some feed back.
Let me know what you think.

I remember the first post you put up and this is really coming along nicely! I'll have to jump on the B front D back... only reason I am not going for the D front is because I found (through previous experience) that running the card vertically will screw you if you end up employing someone with a really long name.
For the mark that is just the N I prefer the representation of it contained in the blue circle... it feels stronger as a mark... solid... I think that version would look really sharp on the black shirt... maybe even centered on the chest...
it would be pretty cool centered on the back flap of the envelope as well (if you can swing the extra print cost if you're running on pre-made envelopes) - it would look like a nice little seal - on that note... maybe you could get small circular sticker rolls printed up and you could use those to seal the envelope(and apply at will!) - could be fun.
excellent!
Cool. Thanks Jonathan.
I posted some new versions from some comments I received above. Let me know what you think.

I live and die by this "simple is always better". Saying that i really like the design concepts, but feel that (H) works the best for a business card. The "circle" really captures the N logo, but on the back side i would remoe the ghosted N from the design. It's really not functional, and make it a little too busy for me. Nice work though.
I love A or D
Nice one, your logo is simple and original, especially color and fonts
What do you like about it? What don't you like about the others? Thanks for looking.
