    Very nice

Posted on Jan 11, 2010 at 8:53 AM

This design works pretty well. My only feedback pertains to the logo and navigation bar. The logo feels a bit odd placed there. It feels a bit secondary and less important. The navigation feels wierd from the fact that everything in it is aligned right instead of centered. I hesitate with portfolio sites that have an animated style, but I think this is done well enough that you can pull it off. Good job!

Nice design. This is a good start, but I think the main font (for the logo, titles, and nav is a little scary, sort of like the movie "Nightmare Before Christmas" and does not compliment rabbits. A softer font that would be associated with rabbits would be more fitting.

I would remove the brightest cloud because it is drawing too much attention away from the page.

The content sections are working well. I like the translucent backgrounds and the subtle white borders.

I think I would use the same title/heading font for the footer.

    navigation

The nav bar looks a little out of place with the text right aligned. I would maybe move it all up a little and put the navigation just above the content.

I love the style and its looks excellent, but it doesn't say web design to me, infact until you actually read the content, you have no idea what the site is about.

    Content "above the fold"

Posted on Jan 11, 2010 at 9:54 AM

I like this. It's fun, cute, which seems to tie into your goal.

My only concern is that the user has to go pretty far down the page to get any of the information that promotes you. If there is anyway to pull some of that info up - maybe even just the (what I am assuming to be) client satisfaction quotes, you could start telling your story more effectively.

Nav looks a bit odd set to the right because it leaves that huge space on the left...

    fun!

    nice

Posted on Jan 11, 2010 at 11:34 AM

thx for review, I already looked at yours before. I like the cute rabbit, but dont like the top navigation. IThere is a lot of "whitespace" on the navbar on the left. Perhaps place the Rabbits logo above the header and more to the left.

You could try also to use a tiny bit bigger font on the header so that you have less white space, I would make the top of the footer more "integrated" with the grass.. now the line is "harse" if you know what i mean, some more graphics on the footer to make it more of a overflow from the grass to the black dirt part.

    I like the environment

Posted on Jan 11, 2010 at 2:12 PM

Except for the rabbit. He is too cartoony. Also, he has an outline while the rest of the layout doesn't have outlines around the design elements. Also not sure what role the balloon plays except for just looking cool. Will you be able to click on it.

I think you can make the rabbit fun and cartoony without making it look like he just got knocked over the head.

I'd like to see a light-blue color used with a cleaner font so I don't have to work so hard to read what's available now.

The rest is very well themed

    eh what's up doc...

Posted on Jan 11, 2010 at 9:30 PM

I really like this... it's fresh and clever great job...

possibly only thing I would change is the logo font, neither of them really work, they are a bit too gothic / emo fpr the rabbit theme.

try a subtler font, and I think you will have a winner!

    Great Job so far...

the top menu bar and your logo

Posted on Jan 12, 2010 at 4:29 AM

I like the 1st one! :) but the menu bar seems to be too wide, I would move the logo up and the menu bar under it, and for the menu bar, try to align it to the left and place the balloon on top of the empty menu bar on the right ;) good luck

I'm not too convinced about the logos, though. None of them really work for me... About the nav bar, maybe inverting the color scheme and using the same type you are using on the footer, maybe centered and a little bit bigger. Good work!

    Love the design.

Only thing is, there is a problem with having the chosen font in the navigation. You can keep it consistent with the rest of the page by having the same font as the body text in navigation.

    Nice job!

It's very original and eye catching.. The only suggestions I have are that they top of the website doesn't acurately say what you do. Also the nav doesn't really git. Other than that, it's perfect.

Its a wonderful template, all the illustrators are cool. Are you the creator of the graphics element. If soo then really you are the excellent designer. Well done. Even you can share your illustrator creation collection.

    Good Job.

    Delicious!

Posted on Jan 15, 2010 at 11:24 PM

I like carrots too! Love the heavy illustration focus. The area above the fold is really big. I'd suggest making shorter to bring content upward or possibly using a 2 column layout moving the focus of the rabbit scene to the left and begin to show content high up in the right column.

    Navigation Font

Posted on Jan 16, 2010 at 11:13 PM

The typeface is not clear, i would placed the logo above the navigation bar, the navigation looks better aligned to the left and in the right side you can place a search field.

I really like the fresh colours and illustartion, it certainly communicates the freshness you are after!

My only suggestion would be towards a mission statement or directed statement that helps clarify exactly what you do and who for? This may help keep users from bouncing?

    The footer colour

Posted on Feb 18, 2010 at 6:42 AM

The brown color footer is bit odd.. it looks good but I think it cuts out the design flow at the bottom.

I think You can give a blue color footer something like the sky cloor here..

or you can use the menu yellow color at the footer. That would make it really fancy and cute..
