I like 9...
still think it needs a little bot more, maye drop the drop shadow!
I say go with 13 I like the red and grey together... 14 is nice, but the blue makes me think of corporate straight away! Great work man!
Marc
I still think 13 and 14 are the best... not keen onthe font used on 15 & 16...
Great work !
I really like number #11.
But it just seems a little off tilt for me as the slogan seems to force the logo to take up to much practical horizantal space.
Other than that, I like it..
Hi Nick, thanks! What do you think about #13 and #15 especially regarding the horizontal space?
Both are equally kewl.
With reference to (what's a good term?) the economy of space... I prefer #15.
I just think that you could then place that logo in a lot more places and postions. (Rather than waisting time trying to make the logo fit a item like the branded-company-pen...or something.)
No probelm. Let us know which one you choose.
Good luck with the freelancing!
I like the overall composition, the type and the letter pressed effects. I prefer this "J" in "projects" - it doesn't hang... Maybe I would just reduce the arrow size a bit. Anyway - great job!
Your welcome! Loking forward to seeing which one you choose :)
I would say 11 & 15 are good to go!
have you considered using a trail while dragging?
Hi Farshad, Yes, I considered it, but it was too much noise. The only place I can think of would be above the letters. Perhaps I will try that, thanks!
I think #7 is working the best, has more of a modern web app feel to it. The space between the g and l could maybe be a little tigher like the rest of the letters. I'm not sure if you need the .com on there or the getting projects done. Also the J sticking down kind of breaks out of things and makes it look weird.
Thanks Eric! I just uploaded another version (#11). Your thoughts will be considered in the final stage (removing the .com and the weird "J", good catch!)
Woooooooooow you picked my favorite teal color i really love number 7
great ones
Hi Marc,
I vote for 8. It stands out to me more than the others. I like the colors and typefaces used. The only main concern is the space made between the "r" and "a".
My second vote would be 7 with the colors of 8.
I like the concept of 9, yet the elements seem far apart. Have you tried putting the word draggler upon those grey bars, rather than the red bar being dragged by an arrow?
Hi Marc,
About #11 and #12: I think the concept is great and I like both of them. Since the arrow is more than a clicker alone, it now shows a purpose for being there. Have you tried other alignment points for the second line compared to the arrow?
Hi Amy,
it is difficult to place the tagline somewhere else. But I have an idea... unfortunately PS just f$§% up, so I have to rebuild some variants before I can try it. Stay tuned ;-)
Hi Marc,
In 12 I like that the arrow is actually pointing from the letter "g" in "getting" to the letter g. Then how that second line actually feels like it is going to get those projects done. On 14 you lose the "g" connection yet it has a complete feel to it due to the alignment and feels as though the project is done. (That's just how I read it.) So, whatever your decision, I think you have some nice logos. I vote for 12, 14, 8 and 5.
but u need to reduce the shadow effect
thanks Swarat. I will try to redefine the version #9. What do you think about the just uploaded #11 + #12?
Number 5 is fantastic and exactly what I was thinking in my head. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is how you have the subheading. Try different locations for it. Maybe nestle it to the right of the "g"s. Great work so far!
Hi Nate,
thanks for your feedback. The tagline needs some work. As Eric stated, the "J" also isn`t perfect. I will try out some other placements and fonts.
To me, I think you are trying to add too much to this. I like just the word "draggler".com by itself. I don't think the tagline adds enough to warrant keeping it. I like the inner shadow you have added. Just keep things simple, don't over think things here.
Thanks Nate! I think it is enough now. When I start to design the website for the project, I will be back for sure. I think it depends very much on the site design which logo works better. I think the possible choices #5, #13, #16 are good enough.
Agreed, however realize that the logo will eventually be used on more than a website. The logo needs to be very versatile. But the decision in the end is your, go with your gut. Good luck!
Sure, a logo usually isn`t only for a website. But in this case... okay, never say never ;-) Thanks!
Is the most attractive
Hi Michael, yes perhaps. But I didn`t want to pollute the frontpage with 3 concepts in a row ;-) I think when time is come I will post the finalist logos in a new concept. But anyway, what do you think about #16?
Well if this is some site that uses javascript to actually "drag" items over and around a page than #16 is the best design to use.
With the "g" hovering over the rest of the title and the movement cursor as part of that element, it really initiates the idea of full on "dragging".
I'd definitely bump up the review scores for #16
yes, it will be js-powered. yes, the main purpose is to drag and rearrange elements. And yes, I like your comment ;-)
What do you think? Should I start a new concept with only this logo or with the 3 "finalists" #5, #13/14, #16?
It would be a great idea to start a new critique board for sample #16.
If you still want more criticism on other safe bets, than you could sample #5 and #9, as well.
Tank you Aaran! what do you think about #11?
