    r and a

Posted on Jan 08, 2010 at 5:21 PM

There seems to be a slight gap happning between the r and a "frespir" and "ation". I think moving the a closer, like the r and e at the begining are may help remove that negative space.

I like the bottom one more, filling up the space on the bottom works better than the top one.

Also the exclamation mark bottom should line up with the bottom of the n, it looks weird not lining up.

the thing that makes me prefer the last one is the empty space in the front of the tagline, but thanks for your review :)

Change the color at the top of the exclamation point.

Color added to the bang will separate it form the text and add interest.

I like the tagline placement of the alternate.

    Capitalize tagline

Posted on Jan 10, 2010 at 9:17 AM

I would capitalize the tag line and decrease the font size. I'm not sure I like how the explanation mark is lowered below to the descender area. Maybe just move it up to the baseline with the rest of the text.

    fine-tune

Posted on Jan 11, 2010 at 9:51 AM

Overall the logo looks pretty good. I prefer the "new version" to the alternate version as stretching the tagline makes it a little cramped for me. I might even try shrinking it down a little more.

You probably need to touch up the kerning around the "r" a little bit. It looks a little too close to the "i" and too far from the "a." It reads somewhat like "frespir ation."

Lastly, I might thin out the exclamation point at the end some. It draws a little too much attention as it is much thicker than the text, so you are taking away from the words.

Overall the design looks good though and just needs some fine-tuning.
