    try more fonts

Posted on Jan 07, 2010 at 6:49 AM

    Hey,

I like the font you chose but I think you can try even more fonts. The banner I like most is the 4-th one from the top but I would add some more color to it.

    MEster.

I lime the last one too, just not the font. How about using the font from No.3 white on black

    third concept

Posted on Jan 07, 2010 at 7:44 AM

The third concept works the best. It's a great illustration and I love the new logo. However, it doesn't really make sense to repeat the logo twice. The logo and illustration are both good enough to not have to add a lot to the. Just try using the girl on the left and the logo on the right. Simple is better in this case.

    Type

Posted on Jan 07, 2010 at 11:29 AM

I don't feel the type choices fit with the illustration. The illustration is very crisp and the type just doesn't match or feel... sophisticated.

Also it may be interesting to add a bit more depth to the BG (but not like the example with the radial burst)... the last one is in the right direction for what I mean and goes well with the illustration... just think it could be pushed a bit more.

    3 is the best

Posted on Jan 07, 2010 at 1:27 PM

    Dan

This is looking good, I like the 3 the best as you have toned down the brightness in her face, and it contrasts well with the black & white.

I am not 100% sure about the font, but play around with it, maybe try a "pornstar" font, it may give the right 80's effect!

    Great job, keep going!

    Font choice

Posted on Jan 07, 2010 at 2:18 PM

I really like the third black and tinted version. Very sexy. Makes me curious as to what they are selling...sunglasses? The one with the sunbeam is ok. The last one, the typeface doesn't work well. On the last one, I would use a flat color in the background and a contemporary san serif font, something thin and sleek.

    Good luck!

    try feminine fonts

Posted on Jan 08, 2010 at 5:23 AM

I would suggest you to try some feminine fonts, try helvetica nueu light, or something like it. See examples in some girls magazines. You'll notice that they mostly use thin and elegant font as a reflection for the female ;)

    good luck

    #4 of the new ones

Posted on Jan 08, 2010 at 8:26 PM

    That illustration rocks

The new font is a good choice but nothing is happening in composition except for number 4 albeit rays are done to death.

You may want to keep going I think you have a great illustration and font but I don't see the killer comp yet.
