2010 Calendar

Make another surprise to her, now with a 2010 Calendar!

I've already made a 2009 calendar to my girlfriend, now is new year... and i tought, "Why not make her a 2010 Calendar..."

So here i'm, still making the calendar..... let me explain how i made it (So far)

First the idea... "It's new year.. i'll make a Retro Style calendar :p =D "

I started in illustrator, writing "2010"..to do it, i used the font "Avant Garde", than i edited it..

Went to photoshop, opened a new, blank, A3 size paper, pasted the text as "Shape Layer", and i started to play with it... colours and stuff..

When i was satisfied with the result, i went back to illustrator, and started to make the squares to put the dates on...

Then, i pasted it on photoshop as "Smart Object" and just erased a little bit of the texture above it...

And that's where i'm right now... I'm now just searching for a picture of me and my girlfriend to put in the bg....

After that i'll update here....

I'll appreciate all opnions, ideas, feedbacks etc...

Update (09/02/2010): I've changed the fonts, made some changes into the texture, i'm just "short" on time to post here, as soon as i edit the prints (crop etc..) Check the last image ;)
