    re-think

Posted on Jan 06, 2010 at 3:48 PM

I think you need stronger ideas for this, this could lend into a really cool project. play a little bit more with typography and the word you. For example you can make the o into a finger pointing towards you, hope this helps

    Thought bubble + 2 = too much

Posted on Jan 06, 2010 at 3:53 PM

Is it You Count Squared or You Count Too?

I like the more linear versions but find myself distracted by the competing verticals of the thought bubble and the 2.

You may want to explore integrating the human form into the O a bit better... could it be a head expressing its opinion instead of the whole body?

I also feel like the type is spaced out a too much... i think it could have a bit more stability if it was a little tighter

    good start though

I was thinking about this last night... the bubble tells me that people are just thinking about things, where (i think) you want to express that people are stating their opinion... so something more inline with a "speech" instead of "thought" could function a bit better

    Brainstorm!

Posted on Jan 06, 2010 at 4:25 PM

Not bad, but I think we can push the limits here. I know the comic bubbles are so overused but in this case maybe you could find a new way to use them. Or maybe one hand raised above others. Remember, in a BS every opinion counts, so let's trow some ideas.

    No Thought Bubble

Posted on Jan 06, 2010 at 4:33 PM

I find the thought bubble a little distracting. A solution for this maybe to make the o in you part of the thought bubble.

Another idea might be to make the o in you the head of the person symbol.

On the plus side, I like the colors and font - although play around with these a bit there might be something better.

    typography and bubbles

Posted on Jan 07, 2010 at 5:20 AM

try to find other typography to use for the logo, I like the people inside the O too, maybe you can still keep that, or even better try to find a way to play with that idea but use other typography or typeface. and the bubble...hm...I don't know honestly, at first when I look at it, it looks ok, but after few looks, it seems too much.

I like the No. 3 from top to bottom. Would take out the think bubble. I like the typo.

    The colors work

Posted on Jan 07, 2010 at 6:51 AM

I like the blue and green that you are using. I also like the font that you have chosen. However the overall concept doesn't seem to be working. There is too much imagery going on, between the man in the "o", the speech bubble and the "2". Choose one direction to go and work on that imagery.

    the bubbles

Posted on Jan 07, 2010 at 1:34 PM

Not sure how this would look, but maybe you could extend the bubbles as an arch over to the 'o' in Count to connect the words. At the top of the arch would be the largest bubble. In that bubble could be the person rather than in the You.
