    A?

Posted on Jan 04, 2010 at 9:12 AM

I agree with the other comments on this one. I didn't see the triangle as the A and read it as "menity" right away. The innocative solutions seems disconnected from the rest of the logo too. Color choices all seem really bland too and probably too many of them.

    Who is the audience?

Posted on Jan 04, 2010 at 12:24 PM

It's hard to say what I think, since it's not specific what this is branding. It looks like an IT logo, from back when Xerox just started out.

You could make it work, but right now there is no tie between the A graphic and the rest of the word. They are like two different elements. Play with color, a taller typeface maybe. Color overall needs to be played with - I think that is what is dating it more than anything else.

I think you need to keep playing. It has potential.

I think this looks much better, good revision!

I would still play with the amenity text. Try making it so the bottom of the Y meets the end of that bar and the top right of the Y continues that angular line from the bar. Make sense?

I like the orange / black best.

      hej Angie,

thanks for the comment and thought. it's encouraging to hear i'm getting somewhere. regarding your suggestion, i tried to find such a font but failed unfortunately. i might recreate Amenity in illustrator to give the impression you suggested. black/orange one is my fav too ;)

      thanks again. regards.

Pick two, three colors max and stick with them.

This logo uses a weird font and the kerning is a disaster. Too many different colors. Tighten this up a bit and stick with just three colors. I recommend ditching the old school forest green and just make it black.

    use of negative space

Posted on Jan 04, 2010 at 2:36 PM

    Metin

I think the use of negative space within the traingular object is great! I would however change the colour of the shape to 2 colours, like green outside and blue inside.

Then all you need to do is choose a better font and add in the 'a' have a look at the below image...

    Good luck!

    Change the typo and color

Posted on Jan 04, 2010 at 3:00 PM

I would change the typo and it’s color. And would type "amenity" instead of "menity".

    looks old school

Posted on Jan 04, 2010 at 7:42 AM

I am sorry but It looks like an old school logo. like a template back in the day. Colors I think should be more powerful. If it's innovative, the logo should be really creative that it entice your audience. :)

    Change Triangle colors

Posted on Jan 04, 2010 at 8:11 AM

i rate it 3 out of 10 i like "menity" font but i don't like the triangles colors maybe you should color the purple one with color similar to "menity" "innovative solutions " should be have bigger letter spacing and get aligned left also you might try to make it extend from the beginning of the triangle till the beginning of the "Y"

you might also try to make another ideas

    Readability

Posted on Jan 04, 2010 at 8:21 AM

There are a few things that I don't like about this logo, however the biggest thing to me is using the object as a letter. At first I though it was "menity" not "Amenity". I also think you have too many colors and the spacing of the tagline is off. I would try another stab at this one.
