    Margins and Glow

Posted on Dec 22, 2009 at 2:02 AM

I like it. I just dont personally like the glow on the JobFinder part. Makes it looks kinda muddy to me.

Also the margins aren't even. Not enough space on the left there. It should have the same amount of margin on the left as on the right. And again with the second one the margins look a bit tight. But maybe your going to stretch it over the whole page so the margins there aren't as important.

Everything works except for the header

The header needs to be redone. The image you chose is a bit awkward and flat. Try to choose something that has more dimension to it and looks higher end. The rest of the email works pretty well I think. I wouldn't worry too much about the images not loading at first, people are use to that. Good work, just change the header up.

I think the text isn't enought work. There's no strength, no hightlite... Perhaps could you make some textblocks and work even on this. For example, perhaps some little overview could replace the screencap in the top of the page, to have some different text block associated with an illustration...

    Guides

Regardless of what anyone else has said; I like the action buttons and the photo is nice because of softness. This project doesn't seem to be a content oriented site, so you probably don't want particular points of interest, distracting the user from what's most important.

There might be a few things you could work on. But the most important object(s) here is the vertical guidelines. Make certain that you follow the same ruler all the way down the page. And don't be afraid to get a little dynamic with the photo of the girl. It might add that contrast you need to just have her head push out from the top border.

    Try some things out.
