used for "Arabian Quadra." I think it looks a little dated and it does not convey power to me (very thin, rounded, which reminds me of more of Modernism than anything else). That said, while I think the first concept is very clever, I'm not sure what it has to do with power. Maybe it doesn't have to have anything to do with power–not all great logos are illustrative–but that's just something to think about.
very neat and clear g8 concept
I'm not loving this design but you might have a good direction. The top concept is the best but doesn't quite look right to me. I would play around with it some more and see what you can come up with.
I like the concept behind the first one, but the execution is a bit off. I'd tweak the font used for the "a", adjust the 3d perspective a little bit, and increase the angle of "q" to separate it a bit more from the "a". (I note that the light source seems to be pointed directly at the vanishing point--the leg of the "q" is parallel to the 3d effect on the "a". That looks clean but maybe you'd be better off with different angles.
Of the two, I like the second logo better, although I can't make an "A" or "Q" out of it very effectively. If you're trying to combine the letters, maybe you would have more success with upper case?
I think the second one looks more like a dynamic logo that could be used on print materials and other schwag. I think the first one might be hard to pull of on say a embroidered polo shirt.
That been said it, the second one is a pretty ambigous logo but I do think it looks intriguing and powerful.
Nice concept, but rather than power, it has a (skinny) feminine vibe. You want something bolder. This looks dated.
The second is too gel-like, messy because of the fades; the elements merge into each other. You could try bringing the green ends closer to the circle to "rein it in" more.
You want variations of these with stronger, bolder proportions.
The improvements on the this can create on of the best logo.
Overall I really like the idea utilized in the second logo. My suggestion to it tho would be to try and give the look of the A and the Q a bit more of an Arabic feel, using sharper edges that would more closely resemble the language while keeping in mind not to accidentally create an actual Arabic Character that would then give the logo the wrong meaning. Here: http://bit.ly/55ipqD is a link to some Arabic text guidelines that you can maybe utilize in the writing style of the A/Q logo (notice the O's are not as well defined and the edges have sharper points). Perhaps it would be a nice idea to try and use this option. And I agree with Hussain Sulais ... the color green may not be the best answer to a logo that is present the idea of "power" or "electricity" ... i would also suggest perhaps a yellow or orange color to contrast the black. The green gives me a sense of "Alternative Energy" and not electrical energy.
I do like the second logo concept very much. I think you have a great concept you can work with...
I like the use of colors and fonts. The first logo has a nice design and I immediately see both the a and the q. The second design is very interesting and I would rather see it reach the final version, but neither the a or the q jumped out at me. Try rotating it to the right a little bit and compress it vertically a small amount.
I like 2nd logo is better then 1st nice design. I luv it
I like the idea of the first one. I think thats great. What if you lower-cased the a and q in the name to reflect the symbol part of the logo?
I think your on the right track with the first one. The stem of the q seams a bit longer than normal, maybe also adding a little more weight to the shadow, also move the shadow a bit to the right so that the q is only touching via the stem.
everything looks good. The only thing I would have a problem with is the "a" looks to bland maybe put a gradient or make it look more 3d? or glossy? Also the Shadow i think is too stretched out.
Otherwise great job.
1st one is a fail. 2nd need a little more touching.
The logo is great - Nice Job
Thanks alot Robert, for sharing your views, Please let me know about the second one as well, how can i modify it according to the requirements?
Well as you are aware the possibilities of re design are infinite - with that in mind I guess we would have to scrap V2 and start again *if* we where looking to have the clarity of V1.
Your parameters: 1) Competitiveness in the power industry I'm going to take that as meaning a logo which can artistically hold its own with major brands of competitors ?
V-2 could do that if we where not holding it to the standards of V1 or to rephrase the masses would not take well to abstract after you have shown them a portrait . That does not mean the masses could not handle V2 I mean they would just be more comfortable with V_1 "easier to get your head around".
2) Power to deliver Truly I do not know how to express this other than to generate a "Trust" image from there we would likely borrow from establish imagery within the realm "lights on" warm in the cold or moving mass transport are positive images of power connected "feel good" Imagery.
3) Innovation Imagery associated with innovation could be a modern city landmark all the way to "Faux"DNA or calculus -also the art of V_1 could be considered Innovative.
HTH. Rob
its a very nice idea to have that shadow as Q..i love it!
nice idea, and could be done better.
need to tilt the q (shadow) more to the right so it is obvious..
make it bolder (thicker)
and as the name suggest.. arabian is just a prefix.. the important part of the name is Qudra (or ability).. and to that, i suggest yellow, orange or red..something that shows energy .. green is more like PEACE and go green kind of thing :)
good luck
my comments about the first design of course.. and sorry about the typos of the review i posted.
Hello Hussain! Thanks Alot for sharing your views about the logo. But u didnt tell about the second one?
Hi Amy! Thanks alot for sharing your views about the logo. Please let me know about the second one aswell. which one is more suitable?
