I think that if you put it beside the logo should work better. I don't think that separating the logo from the menu is a good idea. The rest I think it's ok.
One more thing, put the login with facebook with the normal blue button they have. I think it works better with people that are used to it.
I like the way your content is going... Great job there.

Apart from the logo, the header is praying from a redesign. Regarding the usability, I'm afraid you need ALT tags for the images, hand\pointer mouse cursors for the menu bar (red one) as well as something for :focus link state. Also the menu at the very bottom of the page is almost unreadable, change the link colours, hummm that's it!

you need to place your banner first and then the logo below the logo the nav bar should start
can't able to read login with facebook in black replace with bright color

The orange banner is KILLING this design. I love everything about this design except for the orange ad banner. If you need an ad banner put it below the header and navigation.

I've uploaded a screenshots with the sponsors, so no place beside the logo. About the facebook button, this is the button available on the facebook developer page... can you show me an example of yours?
