need bit of spacing on top of "welcome text" rest very nice..
though i forgot to asked you why domestic has different treatment compared to other sections
I love seeing artist develop on this site. You're work has definitely taken a step up. i really like what you have here. The typography is good, colors bold and organization is well done. The pictures could be a little more engaging. Other than that, job well done!
Cheers Nate.
My work is improving along with my time im getting for each project. Previous job allowed 2-3 hours for design, whereas in the new one im getting a day for design.
the page is very gray, it makes layout dirty. The paragraph text is too long, damaging the reading, the better to divide it into two columns. Also use a greater margin in the sidebar boxs.
The layout is very clean and simple, but there may be too much red. I'd play around with a secondary color for the map, tie, and maybe headings.
I like the bullet images, but you may want to consider scaling them down by 25% and reduce the left margin.
The footer could use a little something - the solid line just isn't doing it.
I like the boxes running down the right and I'd be interested to see what the content page will look like.
I really like the design and the dimension it has. I think is almost there.
One thing that bothers me though is the leading in all of the black text (space between lines) is too crammed, and it makes the website look busy as I whole, but I think that if you fix that everything else would fall right in place.
Have you tried flipping the main image horizontally so that the couple would look into the page, not away from it? Of course then you have to Photoshop the FRAGILE...
at first i noticed that also, but he's looking back at her bringing the visual emphasis back into the page. i think it's okay...
idk, i have to agree with Miro. He's looking at her looking at the page. "He trusts her with these sorts of things" Anyway, just my two cents. There's so many studies that say visual focus is critical. Perhaps you could try the image the other way for a few days and see what your analytics say. I like the idea of a 3rd color and extra line spacing. I agree that the paragraphs might be too long. I dig the red and the gradient (gray to white). I don't think it looks dirty. Domestic does stand out a bit - perhaps they could all be uniform and then flip on uniform. I think it looks great! :)
someone else mentioned too much red... i'm not sure if there is too much, but i think a nice 2nd colour instead would help keep the emphasis where it should be and prevent your eyes from being begged for attention everywhere on the page. you may not be able to do this because of the company's style guide though... in that case introduce a neutral from the brown boxes or a grey?
I just think that the list down below needs to be presented in a different way, maybe with two boxes... The rest is good for me...
Looking great. My only concern is that the background gradient may be a bit strong. The grey text on light grey background towards the bottom of the content makes the page seem abit dull in that area.
I think your 4 feature blocks on the right are missing some sort of visual cue that makes it obvious to people that these are actually clickable links ( I think they are clickable but I could be wrong) . To some people they may just look like featured information.
Overall though looking good.
Everything looks good except the 4 big buttons on the right have an outerglow. It sort of distracts from the whole style from this template. The Nav is clean, Everything else is but then there is an outerglow that may be to strong I think.
Better to increase the 'line-height'. Why the "Domestic" is right aligned? while others are left aligned, apart from these it looks perfect, hmm of course.. the "Welcome to ..." could be a bit more dominant, yep...
I forgot to say the background colour looks good, but could be a little bit lighter, just a little bit.
hey its a really good start style up some of the title txts on the page like find us, commercial, etc
need more white spacing footer may have solid base
Bold, clean look.
The "find us" map looks like a blood spatter, though, in conjunction with the shirt below. :)
Thanks Swart and for your vote :P
