    Nice clean design

Posted on Dec 15, 2009 at 3:05 PM

I like the colors and the layout.

I would lose all the icons and maybe put the arrows for the slideshow in the header on the right of the slideshow as opposed to the left.

Besides that I think it look great! good job.

    VERY nice design!

Posted on Dec 16, 2009 at 8:59 AM

i really love the colors, layout and content organization of this site. The curve in the content area is a really nice touch. The only area that could use a little tweaking is the search area at the top, it looks really crowded. Other than that, great work!

Thank you very much Nate. ya i also feel the top portion is little crowded, will try to fix the same on my next iteration.

The design of the website is very beautiful. It looks like a credible website. It appears to be what you would expect from a company which is leading the market.

I only have one concern in terms of the graphic design. The 4 feature panes you have at the top of the content [convenient][innovative][amusement][guaranteed] look a lot like tabs. In fact I am still unsure myself if these are clickable or not. Especially with the first pane being a different color, it seems like it is an active tab and that the others are clickable. Part of it tells me that I can click on them, and another part tells me that I cannot click on them.

In terms of the structure I think that the two things that will be of most interest to the users are a) the search and b) the specials offers. Both of which have been abit neglected. If those 4 tabs at the top of the content are not really tabs and are just feature blocks, I think the website would be more usable if that space was taken up by a well thought out search.

Ultimately you want the users that are coming to this website to get their hands dirty and start searching and having a look at your specials. So I really think the search needs to be more prominent and integrated.

    the gradients are too abrupt

Posted on Dec 21, 2009 at 3:41 PM

the only thing off about this design is the gradients: they're too abrupt that makes them seem unnatural

other than that, it's a very original and creative real estate website

    The 4 panes

Posted on Dec 22, 2009 at 7:47 PM

This is a really great design. The colors are engaging and everything seems to be summed up on a single page.

Top right search fields is very good touch but honestly I missed it (didn't paying much attention) while I was skimming the page. Maybe because top right is the area that I look only when I'm leaving a site or got lost. i.e, 'help', 'logout', 'contact us' button are usually at top right.

"Where do you want to be" is too high at top for something that important.

Like Mr. Tasevski have said, the 4 feature panes take more space than they should. If it's for navigation, I don't think people will click just to see more information about 'innovative'. Besides, you already put a good short description for each pane.

If they are not for navigation, making them smaller, I think, is a better approach.

Overall, the design is great. I just wish I have the ability to design something like this. Good luck in the project.

    button colors

Posted on Dec 17, 2009 at 9:38 AM

    Great design!

I agree that the image slide show controls should be moved (over the image or on both sides).

I'd lose the icons as others suggested and consider a different shade for the read more buttons. They stand out a little too much and are hard to read with white on light green.

User Interface and Color theory is good. Change the green button style.

    like it :)

you're using max 3 colors besides black so that's good. Website looks very nice.

1 little sugestion; There is A LOT goin' on in the header (on the right). Far to busy. Maybe you could minimize this and use a jquery script to hide it until people need it..?

    Simply the Header

Very will done. I would simply the header as well. Look at the option build a expandable module in the header or a pull-down?

    Excellent execution

Posted on Dec 16, 2009 at 8:40 AM

Content structure is easy to follow/navigate. The focus on the information "above the fold" works very well. Call to action is prominent. The location of the search tool and it's functionality is very user friendly. Integration with the corporate identity is spot on. Great info arch!

I'm not an expert on web design, but I think that this is a very easy-to-navigate layout. I like the colors, and they definitly coincide with the homes currently listed. I think that is good : )
