I am assuming from the threads that the bottom 2 images are revised looks from the top 4. These work great, it is much easier to distinguish the representation of the "O"... and it does read in many music-related ways which would work well with a broad demographic.

The nice thing about it is that it will translate well to different types of media - web, video, shirts, packaging, ads - and will work well as a 1 color or reversed out mark say in a BW newspaper ad so functionally it has legs.

Like the pink background version best. Cool logo.

The speaker box still isn't a clear read for me, much better with the box around it but I still didn't immediately identify it as a speaker.

White background is better than pink background. Speaker box not clear.

The last logo really works for me. On the other items, I don't think there is enough contrast between "the" and "box". I really like the white background images, it just feels like "the" is getting a lil' lost.

I really like this logo. I actually thought that the O in box was a top view of a vinyl turntable rather than a speaker as you mentioned.

I like the pink one a lot. The color theme is very modern and suits the electro scene a lot. I can totally imagine www.beatport.com/ in this pinky color instead of the green they use.

I'm instantly drawn the version surrounded by pink. The one really stands out. What if you permanently enclosed the into a color square instead of make that color a background? That might work well as a "box" reference.

I overall like the logo alot. I wish I could see more detail in the "o". What is it? I'm guessing a cd or record? but then I see four dots around it. I'm not sure what it is and I can't get the image big enough to see clearly.

I don't know if you were aware, but in the UK there is a cable TV channel called the box (similar to MTV). But that aside, the logo is a good effort, though the word "the" isnt a good font and it looks out of place, if it was a person it would look awkward. I especially like the light effect on logo #3-#6.

The logo is bangin! Its original, and it can translate to any other type of media. Nice professional logo.

I pressed the like button right away after i saw this. the logo is very good and it works great on bright backgrounds.

I remember when this was actually a business. It was called "The Box" You could order all types of music videos from it.

You did a good job in recreating their image.

I really like the last 2 concepts.
