    Looks fantastic

Posted on Dec 09, 2009 at 8:44 AM

Looks really good, job well done here. On the inside pages I would make the navigation bar more 2d and flat. The 3d shading and highlighting you have on it looks a bit strange. I would also make the arrow pointing down even smaller. It should really be understated instead of overstated. Again, job well done here.

Thanks! I will also be bringing in the inner menu so that it ends at the inner ridges of the frame instead of overlapping like that

    Well Done!

While fairly new to concept feedback... this is the first design I ran into that nothing came to mine to comment on!

Like it -- end of my story.

I Wonder how the video message will feel

Posted on Dec 09, 2009 at 4:58 PM

I really like the design and feel of the site. It's professional but not cold. The site doesn't try to do to much, so I'm able to scan it very quickly,.

Like I said in the Bottom Line, I wonder how the video message will feel. Maybe make it taller and wider, match it up with the Upcoming Seminar box. Not sure if that will look nice or overly structured.

    Nice Job.

    dig the background

Posted on Dec 10, 2009 at 12:51 PM

I like how you have incorporated the background by including foreground elements like the logo and footer inside it. It is also well accented with your color divisions. Its still a background but it interacts with the foreground and its elements very well.

This is also great because it makes your visual real estate larger with extending the website "box" or content space.

    Great use of space!

Change font of "step out of our surgery..."

Posted on Dec 11, 2009 at 10:01 AM

I feel that font is not professional enough for healthcare. Try a cursive. Something that looks more sophisticated would do well. Great color pallete.

    Seems very user friendly.

    Great work.

    Reconsider the images

Posted on Dec 15, 2009 at 10:05 AM

Overall, I like the design, especially the layered look of the home page. However, I would like to raise a couple of points. The image with the woman and the flower appears to feature her shoulders rather than her back. Does this concern you? The placement of the flower appears to make our eye stop at the very point where we want to lead people. Second, and this is very minor, I see the same image is used of the doctor on the home page and the "physicians" page. If you don't have a different image (say, in a coat and tie) I might crop the image on the home page even further to make it less obvious the two are the same. Again, these are very minor points for an otherwise very professional looking site.

Thank you for the thorough review. The woman's focus is on her back and neck. But I could play with the positioning, especially if you feel the flower is cutting things off prematurely.

The video image will not be the final image, it will more than likely be a screen cap from the video we create.

Try placing the pattern in the footer

Posted on Dec 15, 2009 at 7:34 PM

What if the pattern wasn't in the header but in the footer? I wonder how that would look. Nothing wrong with it at all. Sweet, clean, strong colors.
