Vicarious.no - portfolio

I like the overall flow of the design, especially how that light is placed on the top, but I'd change a few things..

First i'd integrate that light a bit better, now it just looks like a photoshop crop and some shading

Secondly i'm not overly sure that logo, in that colour, works with the rest of the design.

And finally, what is going to happen when the page has more content than in the example? Grow down? I think you're lose the effect when that happens so a preview of a page with more content would be cool :-)

The background you are using here is interesting and has possibilities. However, the way in which you laid out your content doesn't look right. You have some alignment issues in several places. Colors seem a bit random our out of place at times and your content is sparse and not very engaging. Don't take this review as me trying to nit pick your design, but rather trying to give you honest feedback. I think you have a good rough direction here but need to do some major refinement and reworking of some of the elements.

Add some more padding in the gray section to space the title, text, and each 'recent work'. I didn't know that triangular object was a light until someone commented on it. If you like the effect that the light has on the design, use it without the physical light and consider moving the logo to this area. You could also stack the logo on top of the word, Vicarious.

I agree with Kevin that the layout may lose its effect when more content is added. I'd be interested to see an updated concept with a content page.

Mi piacciono molto i colori che hai utilizzato.. non sono molto accesi.. E' un layout molto fine e non pesante. Bravo.
