Make the "ef" smaller and work on the readability of "earlfernandes". I would also remove the line, it's not needs. Good start!
Simple and to the point. If ya had to pick at something... yeah maybe work on the readability of the earlfernandes.com text. Beyond that I couldn't pick at anything. Maybe some classically trained logo designer will tell you this or that is off aesthetically speaking.
I like Lexus... you like Porsche ... or I like Toyota and you like Honda... there will be some personal opinion and tastes applied.
Are the e and the f two different fonts? I feel like they are clashing a bit. I think it would work better as 1 font. Though it does look pretty classy as is. I would still play around with the two letters a bit more to see if a more scripty font might flow better.
Thanks, Yeah the E and F are 2 different fonts> Should I just play aorund with the kerning to make it more readable or change the font for earl fernandes
I think I would just mess with the 2 letters. The E and the F. Try changing them into a script font or make them both the same font and see how they flow.
Hey... if either of you guys are interested I just ran into this post in my google reader (similar styles to yours in there as well) ...

the only thing I would complain about in this concept is the spacing of the letters. Its hard to read "earl" fernanandes. Perhaps spacing will help this too. A little more work on this and I will give you my vote :-)
I like his kind of logo, but this one looks a bit weird.
First, the fonts used for the "e" and the f" are different and that makes it look odd. Seen from far, the two letters together can be read as a "d". I don't know if this is the intention, but if not, consider changing the position of both letters, try to make them more vertically centralized.
the website signature underneath is great! :)
My first reaction to this was it looked kind of like some science equation. Since I'm a designer and not a scientist, I'm not sure if the combination of ef represents anything in that field, but it might be the combiniation of the fonts. Maybe I'm seeing f for Farenheight and the beginning of E=MC2 Then the bar looking like a diving line doesn't help with the equation theme.
I like the idea, I just think there needs to be a little more clarification.
Should be in this logo what is this firm i think
Nice logo but very classic
