    great work

excelent work but if i may say, perhaps not so much all-caps and maybe introduce an accent color, The cyan is a cool color but perhaps use it elsewhere like on active links on the side (4girls)

last detail, can you edit the drop box (25) to fit the style of the site more?

    other than that looks excelent.

Added screen-shot with the lowercase? What do you think? Added form buttons and drop boxes to TO DO LIST

well now that i am looking at it there are alot of initials which you prolly dont want to make lowercase so upper isnt too bad, but i was also refering to the links uptop in all upercase, as well as carts and specials,

and yeah customdrops and form buttons would look really nice

well Karolis you have finally brought the pink to heel -well done For me the presentation is better a more subdued effort which features the decal nicely(could make decal 30% larger). I dont know if its me but the left column font appears to wonder like a word cloud on a low setting ? A vast improvement IMO.

It is not an index page as you seen before did you noticed that? If yes then OK. What do you mean inconsistency? There are two menus, the categories and the cms menus, they should be different. Check it out attached other screen shot with lowercase version. Could you please take screen-shot and upload to http://www.imageshack.us/ and show me what does it look weird?

      So you prefer lowercase?

In this instance it appears to balance better IMO.

    the pink.

Posted on Dec 05, 2009 at 7:08 PM

i like the overall layout, but the pink is not good. it also took some looking to realize what your site actually does or sells. i would clarify that.

    switch to grid view

Posted on Dec 05, 2009 at 7:36 PM

In my experience with e-commerce sites, a grib view (with rows and columns) performs better than a list view (with only rows) unless you really want to emphasize the first few items over the others.

Here's a great article explaining some research done on this: http://www.getelastic.com/grid-vs-list/

I won't say anything more about the pink

Posted on Dec 07, 2009 at 7:22 AM

The overall design looks great. Good attention to detail, layout and hierarchy. You know my opinion about the pink, but besides that it looks fantastic, good job!
