First things first, take the lens flair off, please!
I like your direction here. I think you could use a different picture. Work on your typography a bit especially your heading. The green bar could also be a bit more interesting. It's a bit plain and boring.
Great start here though, keep at it.
Something more organic looking to with the rest of your design. Something maybe like this:
http://www.stcharlesmd.com/
and perhaps instead of using vecto curcly things for the background you can find something more organic or even "einsteinian" such as line work.
looks very professional but it also looks like the site can be about anything. go for some personality.
I really thought about it, putting some numbers or calculations around, but at the end the site aint about Einstein.. he is there to express the idea, of smart and inteligence. The vectors are to mix the design and thinking concept. Thanls for the personality thing, it will be at the end..
i think that the main image could be almost half the height and i think the navigation could be a bit bigger seeing as though its the only one.
Main image will rotate the latest work.. if it is smaller might not give our job the exposure we want.
While the site is appealing, it looks a bit plain to me, because there's so little colour. You could try to get more green accents (like in the top bar).
What purpose has the grey box above the photo?
"What purpose has the grey box above the photo? " It is a rotating javascript and at the top of the image will be the description of the image (work) and some, cosmetics..
I remember Albert Einstein's family being upset about the use of his image for selling random stuff. I'm not saying it's a legal issue, but if your customers know about that, then your use of his image might make a negative impression.
I think this design right now says, "In our opinion, we are as smart as Einstein." It is a bold claim.
Perhaps if you pushed the image quality of the Einstein image LOWER (make it seem like it's projected from film, or a bad video signal), and then put a tagline like, "The ideal of Einstein is what we strive for," then you would diffuse the problem of boasting and/or stealing Einstein's reputation. Or maybe this just bothers me, and it's not a real issue.
In the middle white box, the 4 icons are clear, clean and pleasant. But they also look... standard. Maybe this is an obvious note for later detail-work, but those icons should be custom-made, and tie into the design of the site.
The curlicue vector art works better on the bottom of the page. On the top, the vector art is interrupted by the photo image. The vector art doesn't seem to be extending from the photo, nor does it seem to be framing the photo. It just seems like those two elements (curlicues and photo) are fighting for space, and the photo totally won the fight.
I had to search for the name "MundoComerce" on the page.
I really like the color scheme. And while there are plenty of elements on the page, and while I don't like the curlicue vector art on the top, the page stills feels clean, coherent and full of space.
It feels disconnected. It could use some repetition of itself in the design. I like the color so maybe you could include that somewhere else.
it is a draft the image in the center was the first we found.. it will be random with the jobs done so far... We are thinking about the menu bar, do you suggest anything?
