    the theme

Posted on Dec 01, 2009 at 10:34 PM

I think the cardboard box theme looks good, but doesn´t fit into this concept, you should look super clean and technical. So leave that cardboard box for some other project.

I like the second version more.

    2nd concept

I like the second format the best. I think your colors are really throwing me off though. The tans don't quite look right, the gray worked much better for you on the last concept.

The actual format is good, i think. The colors are just off for me.

    1st is better :)

I like first design more, the header add interesting perspective into the layout ... I also like a lot idea of the cardboard paper background ... I would disagree with Julio`s opinion, that makes feel of moving company - I think that robot pushes it into another level, but You could improve some firt feel coming from the website, telling to visitor, ther you are a software tester.

Maybe the green chat tab add one more color to the layout which doesn`t fit there too much. Myabe You could also think about dark brown text on brown background ... this is not too user friendly i guess and some people could have troubles to read this text.

    cardboard

Posted on Dec 01, 2009 at 1:12 PM

Personally, I like the 2nd design the best and I really enjoy the creativity of the overall design. With that being said, the cardboard background, even though I like it personally (might work better in a different project), doesn't really reflect the technology/ robotic presence you are trying to create. I envision a background with a more technical look. (software code, diagrams, etc.)

In addition, I think the live chat takes up a lot of space, perhaps moving the testimonials to the footer, move the chat box (smaller) to the left and then showing some work examples, a something more tangible. Just ideas, good luck!

    Choose the second

Posted on Dec 08, 2009 at 3:18 AM

Very smart concept. It makes your service more "human" even if there's a robot.. Don't know if i'm very clear...

    Good work on textures.

    cardboard

Posted on Dec 02, 2009 at 5:35 PM

I definitely like the first one better. But what is the story behind the usage of the cardboard? It's fun, but I'm not sure it fits the software testing service that is offered.

But maybe there is a story and I am interested to hear why you chose the cardboard. Maybe if it more closely resembled the packaging of software vs. a cardboard box for packing.

We were thinking about "boxed delivery" because the nature of our service is that we gather initial data, do some magic and provide results "in a box".

Usually the customer' involvement into routine tasks is almost zero.

    the 1st is better

Posted on Dec 03, 2009 at 8:58 PM

I like it and think that the whole idea is very good. The second transforms it into a simpler version...

Nothing more to add.. I like the logo too and the robot is very nice and simpathetic.

Nothing personal, I just don't think this review was constructive.

It is the aim of rating, isn't it?
