I think it's ok as a start...
I would suggest making the logo integrate with the wording so have the BOB and MOD cross over both 'O's like a noughts and crosses grid, and then the D of MOD being the start of Design.
Also drop the Design off the tagline otherwise it will read like this: bob mod design design & illustration.
Good luck!
I think it's too simple. Too simple at all. I think it's difficult to understand BOB and MOD there... And for a design + illusration is quite simple at all... Try something less serious... I don't think that this tipography helps your idea...
love the colors and concept g8 start i guess..i love the first one... hope that u will come up with more concept
the design + illustration same font , i will lose the fading and keep it simple colors are great maybe the design + illustration black color or #287ed1

Nice and simple design. I like the colors and the over all layout. The faded out BD OR BO isn't going to show in most cases, so I would say just leave it out.
i don't like the bob, mod it will cause you to have weird placement and alignment issues because it adds so much extra height to the logo.
Newbird, I was thinking of keeping the "bob, mod" for logo when there is room and it seems appropriate (on my business card for example), but dropping it when space requires that I do so. My concern with this strategy is that without "Bob, Mod" my persona becomes just "BM Design." That's fine, but I think "Bob Mod" is such a catchy name, that, if possible, I should utilize it.
I doubt it. GM is never confused with "Gastrointestinal Movement."
