This is my second post on here. This is my revamped version of my personal website for my design company called Four Seven Design, (www.four-seven.com).
I took in what everyone said about my previous index page and made some changes! :)
I wanted to have an index page that had links to flash pages that displayed my work. Primarily I am a flash web developer, but I also work in graphic design, illustration, art and design and photography...I'm looking forward to your feedback on the site and my logo etc...cheers

I really like this layout. I have to admit, at first glance, I don't quite get the i's and the hearts at the top of the page, though it looks nice.
The "Art&Design" picture - a pencil drawing I believe it is - seems out of place when everything other example seems eye catching. Perhaps another illustration that looks less art project ish (that's not to insult the image itself, but that's what it makes me think of :-O
I enjoy the combo of rounded and square corners, too.

for the most part this is an improvement but i think i agree with the other two about the problems that still exist.
the adobe icons at the bottom where my first problem i don't think they fit the site at all.

yeah im thinkin the same thing...
as for continuity throughout the site, i wanted to concentrate on the flash and showing the work, this home page is really just to show people in brief what we can do and then the users can go into the flash pages to view in more detail.
appreciate all comments no doubt ill be changing it all in january anyway :) cheers

Though as with all new web design sites, the objective seems to be to keep it minimalistic and simple. Which this is, although the middle seems cluttered with the text sandwiched between the images.
Maybe have the logo outside the border?

The site is perfect. But you can workaround with the shape of the heart.

Except for the alignment already mentioned this is well crafted with some serious work attached.
Personal biff cant handle #F50AB2 give's me seizures(lying).

Those top thumbnails are kind of redundant... I feel the bigger ones underneath are enough and you would remove one of your alignment issues by not having them there.

Except the alignment issues. Also your logo is confusing. The hearts don't immediately shout roman numerals. Try more of a V shape, a longer dip in the middle.

the text just seems to be every where. way to many fonts used as well. the design needs to be more consistent!

Maybe you should use another typeface there, I spell it every time "love" even though it is not.

cheers for al the feedback guys. perhaps i should just do it in flash as thats what i know best! haha its all still developing so its all good! i hate the sharpness of the letter v so the logo works for me...appreciate everything though i know i know the continuity into the flash sites is a little crazy but i want to just show the work...im goin to remove the navi from the flash pages and just make them with a home and contact button so u come back to this page... cheers guys

There is way too much going on here. You went from incredibly sparse to incredibly busy. It also doesn't seem to match the rest of your site. Too many text and image treatments and alignments.
