Logo redesign

The logo looks good, but have tried smaller feathers?

Good job Bro!. Nice.

Logos when your doing them for some one else are just intense but when you do it for yourself they become so personal like what religion you teach your kids.

So at the risk of hurting feelings(not my intention)\I gotta say this needs work.

Just picking it of the screen I would say extending design word length of newbird is good start. personally i preferred your first set of wings although these are groovy they do come of a little like spoons. Your first logo sprawled awkwardly to the right and the tm here starts to do the same I don't think you need it(if there is some reason to beat the trademark drum address it separately in a dark corner with a sentence).

I don't even think you need the word design for a logo .

Newbird plain simple grow feathers from the letters capital N is natural left hand side of w could work. Or just experiment with the spoons scaling them down in all green with single blue Newbird is where I would start.

Robert does have a point ... the feathers do sorta look like spoons. Try reversing the gradients, that might help the optical illusion.

Other than that, I think its beautiful. Don't change anything else!

It's been said already, but the feather element on the left looks a bit like spoons. I'd recommend dropping that elements entirely and integrate the feather concept directly into the type "NEWBIRD."

I have nothing else to say, other than this is a fantastic design. Job well done!

Maybe try scaling downthe feathers, or just the blue feather a bit.

Beautiful color scheme and design. Do agree with previous posts that the "wings" look a little like "spoons". You wouldn't have to completely reverse gradients, just tweak that darker areas a little bit so they don't look so deep.

I love this logo. It embodies both the name of the company and its function. Great logo.

Just my two cents:

1. The symbol and the text do not match together. The feathers are have rounded edges and contrast (3d-like) while the text is just plain but features sharp edges.

I love the concept, but I keep looking at it and the things I explained above make it look out of place, weird.

It may be just me, but this is how I see it. I would try to make them fit together.

1. Second thing is, you should properly kern and align NEWBIRD with DESIGN. Right now the N doesn't align with the B above in any way.

I think that the colors work really well because they are illustrating the bird concept and the bright colors are very attention getting. In fact, that is the first thing I noticed. I really like the shadows and highlights on the feathers as well. I think it adds a lot of depth to the design overall. I personally would use a different typeface, but I think this one works. It is very clean. The only other thing I would mention is the kerning on the word Design. I'm not a big fan of the characters being so far apart, however that could add to the clean feeling of the design.

If you have to change something to make it better, rescale the feathers height to be the same as the two lines of text.

Why don't you crack a new bird or the feathers it selves out of the letters in NEWBIRD?

I like the colors and the tipography. I just think that the smaller feather looks like a designed spoon. But I raher preffer this new logo instead the old one that is in your url.

I think that the new site that will follow should be more clean too.. Congrats!
