    colors

The color combination is quite eye-catching, maybe you should use the yellow only in smaller items, to emphasize things you want. Make the background dark gray, keep the the page black and use yellow where you want the viewer´s eye to go, I think that would work.

thanks for the feedback Miro - if I have option, I would go with yoru suggestion and using yellow as the highlight, but the client loves yellow that much and really want to use yellow as the entire background :)

At this state, what I can play with is only the content layout

    maybe too bright

i really like the yellow background. But yellow background for content takes away focus from the actual content. Alos the navigation requires a little more highlighting.

    Colors

The colors are a bit overwhelming. The layout seems to be ok, but I would work on creating a less striking color scheme. The logo is also a bit big, size it down to give it more space to breath.

I have toned down before - just the client wanted the colour to be like this - is there anyway to help with the layout as the colour cannot be changed?

i dont get packaging company from this at all. i would lose the silhouette and add a few photos to express what it is that they do. also too much yellow try to use it moderately .

beautiful, more nav focus, less yellow

Posted on Nov 27, 2009 at 11:49 AM

I like where this is going... yellow could be use to direct people more on the site a bit more. The navigation is sort of hidden, in my opinion. Is that picture on the top right blue packing material?

I agree - the yellow takes the focus away from the navigation - let me revise and propose this suggestion to the client. The image is FLEXOGRAPHIC FILM LIKE POLYETHELYNE

    Too much yellow.

Posted on Dec 03, 2009 at 10:32 AM

I think that if everything was black, it should work better. I don't like the yellow thing at all... But I lke the logo... I like more the logo with shadows and gradients...

I don't think that the typography in "flexible packaging solutions" is good... the place isn't good too... I think that de S in supreme should be capitalized...

unfortunately, the client has got a lot of control with the design - let's see what the client says with revised design
