i am trying to be as constructive as possible here without being negative. This site really doesn't do very well at showcasing you as a designer. It looks more like a small side or school project that you decided to do very quickly.
If I were you I would step back and really decide what are your best portfolio items. Then take those portfolio items and try to design a site that speaks to the same quality of craftsmanship.
Take a look at sites like, creattica.com and webcreme.com to see what people are doing out there. Find a site that you think is the best designed site and ask yourself why.

I like your vibrant photographs. Here's some suggestions:
Type size is too small. Difficult to read.
I don't like the vicious use of colors in your About, Portfolio and Tutorials pages lol. It's overwhelming. Doesn't look good either.
Navigation is annoying.
I don't understand the shape/icon in your logo.

Out of the box the first Image you are showing us does not inspire confidence in your photoshop abilities.
Truly there are redeeming factors of your existing site but if your going to put yourself up there with the kelby's and lynda's you will have to do way better than this.
I hope that is constructive it was meant to be.

The navigation is quietly flat not dynamic, but i think i know your idea. I think the slide show picture can more interesting if related with your portfolio. Nice work.

hi Gia, yes - I was thinking that I can just hide the sections that are not needed to see but I see your point with dynamic navigation.
Basically, the pictures are my portfolio on the photography section, but I might need to change it into more design portfolio I suppose.

I think that you make a good equilibrium of the colors, but I think that your logo isn't good. The typography isn't good, looks not professional.
I think that if you try to make something squared and less rounded would be great.
But I think that you must think again about the design.
