Hi Swarat.
I like the greetings typeface and the line below it.
I think instead of attaching those colors and card to the g. Why not find a color representing the seasons and interchange those colors per letter in the actual word greetings.
If you keep this Maybe have it so the ring fits at the bottom center or corner of each card, the green card looks a bit off. As though the ring doesn't even ring it. These colors are spring colors, maybe try season represented colors or cards themselves?
I don't understand the 3 2 1. It looks like price tags that you see on items when you're shopping at the mall. But I don't associate that symbol with a greeting card.
Also, 321 seems to be separate from Greetings. At first, I thought the company was called "Greetings Cards for all seasons!" And I thought of the 321 as a background design.
So, you have to group "321 Greetings" more, and create more distance between Greetings and the headline.
I like the tagline font. But I think "321 Greetings" might have to be reworked to flow better.
Cheers
And also, it reads 1 2 3 Greetings, because 1 is higher than the 3 :D
Is their website 321greetings.com?
And also, is it 321 (three hundred twenty one), or 3, 2, 1 (countdown)? And what is the significance of the number? Why did they pick the name 321 Greetings?
I don't think that's really a logo. It's a well-selected type and color. But I feel it doesn't work together as a unit. I feel it should be grouped together somehow.
is cards for all seasons. I think this means you should try using 4 colours, for the four seasons. It's a tough one considering they've called themselves 321 Greetings which focuses a lot on the number 3, opposing their tag line almost.
Maybe try working a fourth colour in?
I like it though (the first one the most), suits the industry well!
Version 1 i love, all apart from the tagline, that just doesn't work.
For me i would use all of version 1 except the tagline, and use the tagline design from version 3, and hey presto, you have a great logo.
Just my opinion thought, lol
Possibly add different seasons to the cards with corresponding colors. Pretty much agree with Amys comments
It doesn't pop out at me and seems a bit messy with the different colors, fonts, & directions
I think the colors are smashing and I like the choice of font/typographical images.
I cant help thinking it bends to the Christmas season more than any other but my main objection is the key ring ............it took me quite some time(and reading the other reviews) to associate that with envelopes.
The greeting card industry is huge in North America
"9 out of every 10 households buy greeting cards each year. The average households buys 30 individual greeting cards a year. "
Filled with very talented artists and marketing personal servicing this industry would call for fresh coffee and digging deeper in the well (inspiration).IMO.
This Is A Very Clean & Nice Logo, I Love All The Parts of the first version, Except the " 1 2 3 ", The Impact Font Looks Very Old . Change It With Some New !
I like the first one.....But I think that the number can be replaced with minimal desing cards....
surly will think abt it.. hope u have given me ur valuable vote
I liked the last one, font in one single color looks better. Hot colors are predominant. IMHO you might consider trying mixing hot and cold due to you're offering cards for all seasons. Great job :)
Maybe because Thanksgiving just passed and my mind is on Christmas, but the 123 numbers remind me of a primary colored Christmas tree. They come to a point.
Agreed for new type on the numbers.
I enjoy the colors, but the more kiddish the font, the more the primary colors makes me think of preschool. Something to think about.
I prefer the first design, but you could try making the 1 2 3 smaller to fit the size of the G to give it a uniform shape.
Tutti molto belli. Complimenti!
I do like the first option, colour combination goes very well between 321 and greeting - I might like to see if 321 in flow in term of rotation (1 will be rotated clockwise a little bit)
i like the second logo...playful and nice..^_^
I like the first concept, I just am not sure that the execution on the "321" is the best. I like the "Greetings" font and colors. I would probably go with a different more simple font for the slogan, and get rid of the exclamation point. Either make it a period or nothing at all. As for the "321" I don't like how they kinda fall and rotate. I would make them all on the same line. I like the idea of having an envelope incorporated in the design but I think 3 envelopes is too much going on. Maybe you could have one larger envelope that envelops (clever word usage on my part :) ) "321 Greetings." You have some good concepts here I can't wait to see some revisions.
P.S. I like the font you used for "Greetings." Would you mind telling me what it is?
I like the typography of the second example, is it feels more fun - also like the way you used mixed colors in the words.
Agreed that the tagline needs some help, and I think mostly you should work with the icons further. I like the idea of the 321 and using envelopes, but they really are kinda hard to tell they are envelopes. You should work with that more - I think you may have something with that idea.
Or, perhaps instead of standard no. 10 envelopes, try using either greeting card sized envelopes or even actual greeting cards in your icon. I think that might make it much more obvious. You might not even need three of them. There might be a good way to incorporate the three numbers onto one greeting card icon that would work.
Just some ideas...
This first logo is really top notch. The only part that bothers me is the tagline. It seems a little out of place. Between the color and the placement it doesn't quite look right. I would play around with tagline placement, font and color. Great start here though!
I like the playfulness of your 2nd concept of "greetings", but not a fan of the envelopes
I am actually surprised someone wants to start a greeting card company in this internet era. Anyways these envelopes with the whole and ring look more like the shade card for decorative laminates for interiors. And the font used is very kiddish font, it doesn't really blend together......i think it needs to be reworked from scratch.
for your kind info there are many greetings card company for internet two of them is hallmark and American greetings i hope u the heard the names...
Thanks Miro :)
