Kerning needs to be worked on for all words, especially GANAPATHY.
I agree with previous poster that HOTEL needs to be more prominent.
The color combination works well.
Also agree that the "g"'s blurriness is frustrating. I think it would be more effective if you made the "g" more of a solid structure.
Like the font type you have chosen for HOTEL GANAPATHY GARDEN.
I think this logo/brand is quite serviceable it may not set the design world on fire however its easily digested and may be easy on the brain for the weary traveler. I would like to see the g worked into the words after all we have 2 all ready we may not need a third.
I really like the map on the site by the way it had me fooled idid not realize it was a movie and i wondered how it was being triggered to zoom.
Very elegant i like it alot. the only thing i would change would be adding "HOTEL" to the bottom right of garden.
i love the yellow object but don't like the placement of it. I think it separates Ganapthy Garden too much. And hotel is way too hidden. I would move the G to either the right or left of the logo and then play with the stacking of hotel. To me, it makes more sense to stack it below Ganapthy Garden. Good start on this though!
I believe the big g in the middle is actually supposed to be two g's, am I correct?
The effect you're using on the big g makes it look kind of blurry.
I'd say you could do just a single, solid G.. OR you could do the two g's, just make them different colors. How about making the top one silver like Ganapathy, and then keep the bottom one gold as is, but make Garden gold too...
I think the swirly type is a good choice for conveying upscale, garden-themed hotel.
However, the execution the way it is now is lacking - all the elements are squashed together. The placement of the G creates clutter and redundancy.
I think you should explore a swirly GG monogram that lives separately from the name of the hotel. One good source of inspiration is designer Louise Fili.
Good luck!
