    Professional design

Posted on Nov 24, 2009 at 4:42 PM

I like this design - even though it holds a lot of information, the layout is very neat and clean. Separating what's current by pink colour and yellow highlight works very well to focu on the message that you want to convey

    Great design

    Very good.

I preferred the old version myself, but i can't find fault with this, and its very well layed out and neat and tidy.

    Excellent work as usual.

Looks good, pull the pink in more

Posted on Nov 19, 2009 at 1:32 PM

You're almost there. I would pull your pink color in a bit more. I do like the simplicity of it and you have just the right amount of personality. Good work!

    logo

Very good, the only thing is, is your logo (the pink one) too small, can´t see it now?

    color consistency

Posted on Nov 20, 2009 at 11:24 AM

Love the simplicity of the site. My one suggestion is to think about how you are using your link colors. For the most part, you are only using the yellow to link for contacting you. However, it breaks down in your portfolio section, when you link to the project, and again in your about section. I would recommend all those links being pink, so that as a visitor you get conditioned to yellow meaning 'contact daniel' and pink being other links.

Good suggestion Ben. In fact I use two kind of links to differentiate navigation/menu links (pink ones) and inline/text links (yellow ones) as they have different purposes even if sometimes they link to the same place.

      Thanks!

    This is awesome

Posted on Nov 23, 2009 at 4:48 AM

Love it man, I just wish I had thought of it first =P

But seriously, the jQuery (I'm guessing) effects on your portfolio really make it stand out and the simplicity itself makes it look amazing.

    Fantastic work!
