Objective: To make the website look clean and fresh
Target Market: Everyone
Added on Nov 19, 2009 at 7:02 AM

Starting working in my new job and the first port of call is to update the companies website and make it feel fresh.

They sell airport parking, and are the market leader, but as with their competitors they have a fairly average website, so they needed an update.

I'm waiting on feedback from management, but any suggestions for changes would be great.

EDIT: Brightened up from the first version, also the menu has been updated and a newsletter option added.

Also changed the banner image to one of managements choice, although i think a more proffesional one will be used in the final version.

Maybe you try to change the banner

I think this makes the banner look too jumbled, could be a photo of the car further away would be better

        • don't forget our favorite browser, IE6 :) he "loves" drop shadow and rounded corners :)

        • Yeah i think IE6 will be a huge issue on the site, will need to see how i can put it all together on that. I do have an IF code i normally use on freelance work, that i could pop in, and tell morons on IE6 to get a new browser, lol.

        Second concept is much better

I would work off the second concept. The second concept has a lot more promise. This design is still pretty dark and bold.

          • Great! Opinions on this site are helpful but ultimately the clients opinion is the most important :)

          Drop Shadow

The main thing that I see is that drop shadow is still a little strong. I really like the cleaness of the banner very open and airy. The only thing that might get lost in this is the words under the park and ride logo. Overall very good! Like it lots!
