Your content doesn't have any sort of hierarchy. I don't really know where to look because you haven't created any focus. I would try to do that with colored backgrounds, shadows and dividers.

As Nate Hamilton pointed out, you're not using focal points very well.

Currently, the first place my eyes go to is the video stream, then I'm looking all over the place, because no other section is highlighted more than any other section.

I think the current website (it.blogbabel.com) looks and works better.

Also, it feels like you removed a lot of the home page content. I can't understand Italian, but something feels like its missing, lol.

I suggest adding different background colors to create focus and separate content.

I realize this is a magazine/blog but it seems like I'm looking at a lot of information without any real direction. The structure, logo, contrast, and shadows are all great.

As already said, this needs stronger hierarchy. Try using dividers, other color on the headlines, different type sizes...

The only thing I would change would be to apply the same shading of the black navigation to the purple active page buttons.

I visited the site and I like it. Change the background and work more on writing BlogBabel that, in my opinion, deserves more attention and perhaps more originality. The work is very good for me. Congratulations

i think the logo will work but i think there is too much content all at once. If i were to come to this site for the first time it wouldn't make me want to blog.

Its very clean, and i can't find any real fault with the design to be perfectly honest.
